Everything changes when you go raw and healthy. Just like he said, your senses improve, you look better, feel stronger and really everything changes for the better. You can feel it. You know it when you're in that zone because of that and there is no more joint and muscle pain. If there is a fountain of youth it is in the plants we eat raw.

I said to myself while watching this, I wonder how old this guy is ?? I thought 46 - 47, and I'm usually pretty accurate. I could see very little lines on his face that accumulate from the stresses of life. Every face tells a story in my mind. To satisfy my curiosity I went back to his first video and found out Markus was born in 1962, which would make him about 61 or 62 years old. That is impressive to me, and after watching this video, and some of his others, and the diet he has, and his philosophy on life, I can see why he's aged so gracefully. I've subscribed and can learn a lot here. I'm 70, going to be 71, and I spent most of my early years til about 55 - 58 yrs old, just chasing money, being on a pager all the time, and being at the beckon call of a lot of people. I was mostly involved in real estate. All of a sudden I just "stopped" and didn't care anymore, which is not good, and now looking for purpose and inspiration in my life, so this video was great to get me thinking of things. Really life is on loan to us, and we only need so much money to finance us til the end, so why bother stressing yourself out, dying younger, chasing the excess things we don't really need, and won't really use. Great video Markus, you are inspirational.

Since I began taking your advice almost 1 month ago, Markus, I’ve shed 12lbs of bloat or fat or whatever it was. My GERD is gone. My stomach pain, gone. My bowels are finally working well. No more alternating constipation and diarrhea. My nerve issues even seem to be healing. I am feeling more energetic. And all this without feeling a bit deprived. I’m so shocked and ecstatic!! So thank you for all your talks and for being the example of what is possible.❤

Thank you. I’m 73- and swim a mile every day. I try to walk/run a mile as well. I’m retired but love to work and I get down in the ditches with my staff. I avoid fast food and love to cook (Mediterranean diet) I feel amazing! I’m saddened to see so many cars lined up at fast food drive up windows. They are paying corporations to slowly kill them! Obesity everywhere… so unnecessary and self destructive. Please continue your passion to try and help people.

Boy, do I need to hear this...again. I'm 74, turn 75 in two months, no aches, pains, competing in master's track events, know exactly what happens when I eat certain things. And yet sitting here I'm telling myself as I have 10-to-the-third-power times before, that hey, I'll "deprive" myself of everything fun, get teenage-body healthy for two months until my next masters' track meet, then "celebrate" afterwards with a burger and a beer. "Hey, I'm feeling great! A b&b isn't going to kill me, I'll just feel like crap for a day or two then I'll go back to my raw food diet. Two, three days later I'll be back to my optimum health!" Then a day or two after the b & b, it'll be, "that pizza sure looks good, what the heck I'm still detoxing the burger. a little more isn't going to hurt, I know I can give it up whenever I want. What's more, I'm tired of the social isolation, everyone else is having fun, why not me...". So the cycle goes...on...and on...and on. Ten-to-the-FOURTH-power anyone?

I had that eye opening feeling just recently. Yes I left a comment freaking out but I just wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing. You helped me really set it in stone. My stress has reduced and the foods(healthy)that were bothering me before are no longer bothering me. The worst habits I had are gone. In a very short amount of time I made all kinds of discoveries and have been connecting with people. I was so angry the last couple months but that is even under control now. I even discovered some opportunities. It's been easier to figure things out and I have yet to scratch the service. I can't wait to see where I am a year from now. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Great video thank you. I also just re watched the acid alkaline myth video of yours. My health deteriorated drastically years ago and since then I‘ve been raw vegan/cooked vegan (steamed veg) along with your green formula, sea moss, vit C, protein powder etc. No sugar, pasta, potatoes, wheat or other flours, nothing baked, no honey, dairy etc Just green smoothies (made with fresh nettles, dandelions, plantain leaf etc and your green powder too), vegetable juices (no fruit), salads or steamed veg. My teeth are getting worse and worse and thin and see through. I‘m getting huge cavities. My teeth are also wearing down badly, they’re dissolving. My saliva ph is very acidic and not alkaline as it should be and my stomach is not acidic enough (I struggle to digest the raw salads I eat and bloat most days). I‘m not managing to turn around the health state of my body despite the very high raw diet and some steamed veg which I‘ve done for many years. What else can I do to help my body?
@MarkusRothkranz2 ай бұрын
Having acidic saliva and teeth dissolving means you are using lots of acid of some kind- like fruit juice or apple cider vinegar or lots of citrus. If you're bloating and not digesting properly, then something is lowering your stomach acid- like alkaline water, calcium pills, baking soda, antacids, bread, crackers, wheat, etc. Sugar and fruit juice can promote yeast which also lowers stomach acid, as well as stress and lack of proper sleep and sunlight. Avoiding oils and healthy fats is not good because then bile production slows down which is not good for digestion, plus it allows bacteria to grow in small intestine (SIBO) another cause of bloating. Coffee ahas tannins which prevent nutrient absorption. If antibiotics were used within last few years, then gut probiotics have been killed off that are needed to properly break down food and extract nutrients. It's not the diet as much as the things preventing it from absorbing properly.

I appreciate your lectures Markus. They have inspired me to do intermittent fasting, low-ish carb diet, and only eating one main meal and some healthy type snacks (fruit and nuts) between noon and 4 PM. They say it takes 21 days to develop a new habit or get rid of an old one. I imagine it's a little different from person to person. I'll give it that time to see if my new eating habits are helping me lose some weight and reduce insulin resistance. I'm not doing the vegan thing though. That's where I draw the line. I had some of your banana recipe ice cream last night and it was very good. Thanks for that! A nice treat. I used some frozen berries and ice with it too.
