If you upgrade it It cannot be returned, also if you max the sword everyone will die after 1 or 2 hits that makes the game boring after some days, also let you do animation cancels in story mode that makes the game more enjoyable , I don't tell you to play with level 1 katana but I think level 5 is a good and balance choice. Imagine you kill a bandit in act 1 by one hit and also a golden general in act3 with heavy armor, shield and helmet.

depending on the game, 1sh00ting enemies are not fun dont feel stylish nor satisfying. Depending on the game, even 2 sh0tting enemies can be boring and stops you from styling on them so unless game has a n "overk!ll" mechanic like some games where you can still h!t them buncha times beyond 0HP it is understandable to be cautious before upgrading the weapon you like. i do this all the time in every melee action game(be it soulslike, or hack n slash, or something like Classic AC/Tsuhima/Mordor btw, not one sh0tting dogs/wolves in games is where i draw the line. if you aint 1 sh0tting Dogs/wolves/Giant rats means you gotta upgade your dps

I did a lethal playthrough without upgrading my blades, and it looked amazingly. Battle damage looked awesome, battle felt more engaging, and assassination animations were more brutal.

Yo what even is this... here i thought i was decent at this game and here you are swapping styles so fast you aren't even triggering the slow mo, seemingly regardless of whatever enemy type you're facing. Doing the spirit slice from like 4 inches away. Actually making use of the pause moves that I've never figured out and getting them out super fast. Just crazy. So i know the Stealth kills are more brutal with a non upgraded tanto. I've never seen a Slaughter takedown that doesn't decapitate like you did in the beginning. But what else does not upgrading your sword all the way do?

I prefer the fast effective kills with patience and style. (btw on Hard Mode, just recently killed Spirit of Yarikawa, and other straw hats, Sword one bar from being finished, short blade fully upgraded, small bow fully, travel suit fully, and stances fully upgraded) I don' do story mode until i fully discover and level everything else, thats how I play. Your method looks hella fun though 😂😂

And for me, not upgrading the bow ability was always a no brainer. After watching the sick ass combat in the video, I was like damn, if this guy sees my comment he's gonna think I'm just tryna be asshole. Luckily that doesn't seem to be the case. But yeah bro, Not slowing down time when you shoot arrows is gonna be one of the best decisions you could make while playing this game. You won't regret it😤💯
