Here’s a cookie tip Evan…after you cut out your shapes put it back in the fridge for a good 20 min and then put it straight into the oven. They will hold their shape 👍🏼

Evan, to get better shaped cut out cookies, make sure the dough is REALLY cold. Also if you could get a marble slab piece ( which you can refrigerate) the dough will not stick to it as much. Just make sure you flour both the marble slab and the rolling pin. I work part time at TJMAXX and sometimes we carry marble slabs ( or marble cutting boards) and they are so much cheaper than online and you don’t have to wait for it or pay shipping LOVE Carlin and Layla’s fuzzy pink PJs!!! Zade is just getting into his personality and he is sooo cute!!!

Princess Layla Rae did an amazing job in the Doctor’s office. Love the matching pyjamas, “are you kidding me Mama”. Evan it’s a good idea to remove the batteries from Christmas lights as they often leak into the battery pack and the lights won’t work (not even with new batteries). The cookies need to be spaced out quite a lot on the baking sheet. Also make sure your cookie dough is really cold before baking.

So impressed with Layla, her courage, how brave was she, Oh my word. Clap clap to beautiful sweet Layla, I'm glad she's okay. I think so many of us go through stitches when young, I had some on my pinky, due to an accident in preschool, when I had a very heavy door shut on my pinky, finger. I still remember the color of the door as well as what the girl who shut the door behind her(obviously by accident)looked like and was wearing, lol.

That particular area is very vulnerable. Many kids including my daughter had the same injury, but she had to get stitches. Looks like they glued and steri stripped it. So much less pain for Layla - Yay!

We usually put up lights around the house the week before thanksgiving and the tree the Monday after. I’m so tempted to decorate early this year. No judgement from me. One year when my kids were little I had the tree up before Halloween. The look on my neighbors face was hilarious when they came through the door. 😂

Check your expiration on your batteries. I was also told many years ago to not store things with batteries left in them. If you chill the dough before baking it's supposed to help hold the shape during the baking process.

Evan, you should always remove the batteries before storing your decorations. The batteries can corode and make a mess, and damage your decorations! You don't want that headache! I WISH I could decorate for Christmas now, but my hubby won't get the decorations down until after Thanksgiving, and I can't get to them myself! He also has to put most of them up because I'm not able to do much of that either!🤷🏼‍♀️ It's all good though!😊

Our goal is November 1st for the family Christmas tree. This year, our oldest had in person university classes on that day, so we all decided to move it to Reformation Day instead. We are full on Christmas in our house, and we love it! Having all the trees, garland, and decor makes our home feel so cozy and special. It’s our favorite time of the year!
