Over and over I’ve been told I needed to ask for what I want and set clearer goals...but I had no idea HOW to figure out what I wanted. I’d never heard of this approach before. This is exactly what I needed! Thank you!!

This is great! I spent most of my 10 year marriage focusing on his goals and his wants that now that we're getting divorced...I'm stuck figuring out what I want😆 It's a bit scary and overwhelming but extremely exciting to be able to find my own goals and work towards them. This helped point me in the right direction. Thank you!!

I JUST DID THIS!! It was GREAT! The cool thing was that I didn't get sidetracked into writing down all my "don't wants" from my whole life, which is no longer an issue. I was able to focus on what is relevant now.

Don't we all love those "waaaay to simple to be true" tools that become alive & magical when implemented? Thank you for this video, Tara! I actually have a family member, who has been stuck in the "what do I REALLY want" mode for years! News flash: this is NOT only an issue of those who are stagnating or struggling but also of those who are seemingly fine, have a career, make money, etc. It is just compounded with guilt they get mirrored back when they dare to bring this up. "What else do you want, what the heck are you complaining about, you are all set..." is a summary of reactions they get. Lately, a spiritual book has offered the solution that if you do not know what you want (hence what to focus on to manifest it) then focus on wanting to know what you want. :) Until this video, this was the most pragmatic advice I have seen. But not anymore! Here you are, with this awesome process! Thank you so much!!

0:36 beautifully said. I remember receiving simple advice from psychologists during my time with a depressive episode. At the time I shrugged it off, I yearned for a more complicated and specific set of answers that were catered to me. But now being out of that depression, and reflecting on that simple advice, I can now appreciate the beauty in its simplicity. And that the application does actually go a really long way. Like and sub just for pointing that out. Thank you

I really loved this video and it gave me so many ideas to act upon. At the same time, i found myself putting stuff towards the end that I feel I don't have much control on, for example I put: "I don't like to put so much work into something and get zero results". How would write the opposite of that? I can always put in work but sometimes the result doesn't always come as I can't control it,so it's a tricky one. I hope this makes sense.
@TaraWagner2 жыл бұрын
That makes complete sense. :) How about, "If I plan and set goals effectively I get closer to achieving them, in my own timing."

@TaraWagner3 жыл бұрын
Great question! In my own experience, I struggled with this when I wasn’t clear in my values and long term vision for my life. Without those it’s hard to choose things that align. It can also be true that we need to experiment to find those things too. Thoughts? Do either of those ring true?
@missanonymus5852 жыл бұрын
@@TaraWagner yeah, but making a full on decision about something is so hard. and following through. i guess that's what actually worries me , am i able to continue with what i started or just.... give up. almst a year ago i made a very serous decision and i stood by it. and it changed me in someways; just showed that i am cable of something. But i have a tendency of falling back, beacuse i feel i was too hard on a person...
@TaraWagner2 жыл бұрын
And that’s super normal! But I’d recommend focusing on one thing at a time - make the decision that aligns with your long term goals and values and treat the possibility that you might not finish as a FUTURE decision and cross that road when you get there!

@TaraWagner3 жыл бұрын
I hear you. I’ve felt this at one point in life too. Nothing by felt possible or realistic or even that exciting. But I’ve found over time that those experiences can change too. With time and experimentation I found my dharma (calling/duty in life) and am passionate, motivated, and clear. Even the things I have now that I wanted don’t just leave me wanting more. They leave me enjoying what I have. So hang in there. Keep chipping away at it. It’s an “over time” thing not an “overnight” thing. You can get there. But unfortunately none of us get to rush the process. ❤️

Its becoming the USC United States of China . Do as your told . There is no or else . What is the point to knowing what you want in life as goals if that is what you are trying to get them in ? I am just a Veterans Wife that is all . We got a letter saying after 10 years of sacrifice they want my husband to give up his rights to choice that he defended for everyone and take there shots which would be them calling for him to "serve again ." I want someone to tell me what is the point ? I am hearing they will give no medical treatment to Veterans if they are not vaccinated . I have not found the evidence yet but I can see it from other things that has been said .
