Seek ye 1st the Kingdom...Seek meaning to pursue God's kingdom 1st was in my devotion today. This was a reminder of that. He pursued God after not finding peace in the world. Thank God he found Christ early to be a light to those who may never sat foot in church.😊

There are kids out there that don't even get the chance to learn about God. So if they brought it back into schools they might learn how to love. And maybe the bullys will quit goin around. Teach them love and not teach them how to play video gamez

Great interview Chris and Tim! You are representing the kingdom extremely well. I personally know a Pastor who was a part of the last President’s Faith Council who was not sold out to power. I believe He was faithful to the call (he’s now with the Lord). He told me a lot goes on in private, away from the cameras, that people never see. It was good to know that God has His remnant in every sphere of life.

If you are really serious about your faith and want to grow spiritually start with Orthodox Church. If you just want your "ears tickled"and "feelings" stuff then stay with the Penticostal Charismatic, then this channel is for you!!!!!

Welcome!!! Remember there are many Bible believing Charasmatic churches. As long as they preach Jesus Christ crucified, on the cross through repentance and the Bible as God's word in its entirety, that's a start. Chew the meat and spit the bones out, as I've been told. There's no perfect church but go where you feel welcomed the teach the Bible...😊

Tim, I am a big fan of your shows and I have been following you since early last year. I appreciate all that you have been doing and the truth you speak, but more importantly, how you have been leading and guiding people to Christ. My name is Isaac Davis, I live in San Diego, and I am the same age as you. I know you have heard and talked about people's different journys, and I hope to one day tell you about it because I think my story is unique. If you are ever in the San Diego area, it would be a pleasure to meet you and hang out and just chop it up. I think it would be a great time. Blessings to you and your family!

It’s true a lot of us Catholics don’t get taught about a relationship w Christ we learn the teachings but without the relationship it doesn’t mean the same thing, even though it is all gonna mean everything when we do love God for real. And the reality is that even if nobody said you need to open your Bible and let the Holy Spirit show you what he wants to tell you today, if your heart is open he will still find a way to tell you what you need to know to seek him out. I wish instead of leaving the Church people would stick around and start a Bible study, because all you have to do is read the lives of the saints and you will know that the church knows what it means to have a relationship with God, but the infrastructure has not been effective in making this something built in to Catholic Church life in a uniform way that reaches all ages. We are all supposed to be one Church and the Protestant reformation pulled us all apart. We should all be together being each others missing hands and eyes and feet and be one again. We are supposed to help each other not give up on each other. I know plenty of Catholics who have a beautiful holy relationship with God and I know plenty who glaze over when you say Bible study, but they show up to offer the holy sacrifice of the Mass as one body. I wish you guys would come and be with us and we could all share what we have.

The way in which this was explained regarding Catholicism 25:11 is the aha moment I didnt know I needed. I couldn't explain my relationship with God to my aunt because I don't know him like that. I knew church 55mins hymns, kneel, short sermon, spent longer queuing for bread and grape juice (which I never drank from that one cup) and then out u go. Wow thank you

I love you, Fam! Just thinking out loud here... May I please throw something out there and BEG OF YOU to not generalize every white believer based upon one small survey of a specific origin of people. This is perpetuating division from the pulpit / family discussions and that is not what Christ died for. Also, not all white people are American, so that even skews the margins that much more. When we are focusing on the color of our skin we are perpetuating the problem, so how do we team together as fam to tackle the issue. I would 1. - check ourselves and our own hearts. 2. open up dialog without the intention of trying to limit someone's narrative based upon our own view 3. We pray for the boldness to lovingly call out poor treatment of other humans (black/mexican/native/asian/middle eastern/jewish, lgbtq and so on) 4. At the end of the day and all day, we keep Christ on the throne and abide in HIS LOVE FOR ALL PEOPLE 5. We give time to get to know each person and their beliefs instead of having preconceived notions based off of the color of their skin or their financial demographic, etc. Before you ask - I am a white girl who grew up running with beautiful people from SE San Diego (Daygo-619). Was always too white to be black and too black to be white. Called "wigger" by my own family. Rejected by other white people because I played ball and dated black men, all while being assumed I believe some sorta way because I am white. So much to say, but would love a platform to open up this convo, cross reference on multiple views and actually determine how to take action to start creating solutions to these issues. All my love, Fam! Let's love and grow together!

Welcome, my sister in Christ! It sounds like you were mistreated due to being inclusive of people of color. As a Christ follower who happens to be a Black woman, I've had a similar experience of not fitting in and loving all groups of people. We do need to focus on individuals and not look at people all the same if from this one group. 😊 We have a mandate to preach the Gospel to all of the World...😅

Why is the pastor by default married to the church? Isn’t Jesus married to the church? Especially if the pastor is married…. Shouldn’t he love his wife as Christ loves the church? Does a pastor’s wife come b4 church responsibilities?
@almmason7
@almmason7 6 ай бұрын
Yes, I think he was saying that's how it usually is not how it should be for the point of how the pastor looks at his flock. He wasn't being literal. Yes, a pastors wife comes before his congregation. It behooves the pastors wife to have a similar heart for the flock so she will be understanding if he has to help the flock. It's all about boundaries and priorities on both their parts.😮
