Wow. So insightful. Thank you for sharing. It’s something that I need to keep in mind, and I’m just starting out in my own business.

Hi Laura, thanks for the note, its a great lesson to learn as early as possible because almost every entrepreneur will be faced with a situation like this. Good luck with the new business, very exciting!

@@SaraDaviesMBE oh thank you so much. For me is extremely personal however I need to also keep a step back. It’s basically because it has been inspired by my daughter being premature and having an extremely traumatic pregnancy and it is part of my mission to help families who have been through the same.

This is exactly what I am learning at the moment moment, not taking things personally is what I fi d the most difficult. My hubby is always telling me about this, but hearing it from you has really helped. Thank you...again! 😅xx

"It's not personal, it's business" is so easy to say but especially in SMEs hard to live by when facing challenges. The reframe of 'what's in the best interests of the company?' is really helpful Sara for both the small and big issues we can take personally. We're a small, independent business of five team members at GiftRound and this was a particularly useful topic to cover, thank you 🙏
