4:30 so relatable, as a support main i lost count of the times I've been blamed for losses that were completely avoidable if my lemming team mates would just pay attention. like i call missing, ping map, call out careful right, you can see the enemy rotate on the wards I placed for them, and they're like: "perfect time to push tower." and die screeching support diff. I hate it here... (here being casuals)

@@stealthyturtles I feel it man, I had a game where I was manti adc and I had a nu wa mid. he said enemy missing middle and I had the enemy adc in the front of the tower and the enemy mid behind the tower for a whole minute when i eventually died due to ability spam the mid said why was I feeding his lanner and didn't even try to come over to gank the enemy mid behind the tier 1 tower with me. later in the game the nu wa died and I decided to get a couple of the mid waves while they were dead and they said they were going to report me and to leave their lane. I just don't play normal stuff anymore like anubis solo and scyla/janus adc if I'm going to lose I'm going to lose while having fun it is what it is.

@@traviszane5334 i was janus one match and my jungle spazzed out because i took the green w/o him and one of his back camps, while he was ganking too. no kill on the gank, and by the time he was back to the camp on a back it was like 7 seconds from spawning. people think "my role my experience my everything" and would rather exp sit or just die to tower instead of having someone utilize it. i always question how these people are in high plat/low diamond lobbies like dude tf you going on about, im not gonna just burn this experience. youre behind, fine okay, im ahead, the team is balanced because of it, im not gonna leave it up and let it waste or be invaded

I feel for you mast and for what is worth I believe is perfectly fine to tilt and even be toxic in your videos if it helps relieve the stress. Also I personally prefer when people are upfront about being mad and go full toxic rather than passive aggressive toxicness if that makes sense lol. Keep up the good work man!

I run the nearly same build on agni but my last two items are polynomicon and typhons. Poly basics off your two is really easy to land. Huge numbers, great pen and it adds a smidgen of sustainability to agni. Agni's passive encourages basic attacks so it always made sense to me to add poly.

I think a big reason why Casuals have been so bad for Season 10 is that Season 10 has actually been a huge boost in the game's playerbase, both returning players who quit and new players, so it's just been a ton of new people and it still hasn't quite caught up for everyone to be skilled enough for it to be tolerable.

That’s any MOBA man. They’ve all been out for 10+ years so there’s just so much information to learn, all the gods/heroes/champions or whatever name they choose to call their characters, then 4 skills + a passive per character, then builds and what works on who and what’s meta, then some characters throw a wrench in it all and have a unique design with more skills, then there’s laning and understanding power spikes, then there’s understanding the map and neutral objective opportunities, then there’s team fights and active items (called relics in Smite), and it just goes on and on. Most people have hundreds or thousands of hours, it’s not super new player friendly. I like that Smite offers more tame game modes like Joust though, smaller map, learn leveling and items and characters without all the nuance of conquest.

Season got significantly better after crit fell out of meta IMO. It was terrible trying to dive a back line adc and getting nuked in 3 autos only them to be above half HP from life steal and get a 400 hp shield after killing you with bloodforge

Elo hell isnt really a thing, if you’re good you will get out of bad lobbies eventually. However, being in bad lobbies due to matchmaking can set you back ridiculously far. I went from diamond 3 to plat 3 over the course of 5 days, I just could not get into a lobby that had a good game. I’m fine with losing, it’s a game and sometimes you get bested but I want a good match if I’m gonna lose. when it’s not even a close match, or when you have someone spazz out super hard and say “You don’t deserve to be carried by me” while they sit in fountain at 1-5 within 10 mins because VER-VVX, that’s when I gotta walk away for a few days. I hard maybe 3 wins over 5 days, 4-6 games a day. Every lobby I had a troll who just refused to play the game, actively fed (if you feed because it’s a rough game for you that’s fine, actively running to enemies to hit you then running to tower is not), spazzed on Jg/Support for no ganks or an early death from a misplay, or any other bogus reason. Went from 2200 mmr to 1600 and just decided to wait for crit/heal meta to change. Just started playing again since crits fallen out of favor and Hachi is my favorite adc kit

Hey Mast, I saw you build Sands of Time rather than Conduit Gem. I found it odd since Conduit Gem works REALLY well on Agni late game since you are constantly throwing out abilties and can keep the passive of the upgrade active. Is the damage of Sands of Time just more than gem? Or is it the MP5 that makes it valuable? I always try to see what you do and build to get better at the game lol

Depends on the mage and if you're going chronos pendant. Otherwise the build leaves you at 10-20% and that's not great

I only build gem of focus on gods that really need the movement speed, the cooldown + power from pendulum is almost always better, it's better early game than conduit too

Conduit is good on gods with no escapes, or built in movement like Ra, Janus, MLF, Morrigan makes good use of it, etc. I don’t really like it on Zeus though personally, I’d rather just have my ult up as much as possible. Agni specifically works great with Sands because you get 10% cooldown and usually rush a deso 1st or 2nd so by 15 mins you have 20% cooldown for more bombs. You also proc the starter version too often with bombs and fumes that you’re getting a like 1-40 dmg proc, followed by a bunch of 2 dmg procs cause it can’t stack fast enough.

Agni my favorite mage, he has close range ability, far range ability a dash AND a stun, say less, if you die with Agni your either inting all the time or bad positioning, and it gets even hard to kill him when relics are up. he's like the whole package but premium version.

Tanks are okay right now I think. I find a lot of people saying tanks aren’t tanky are rushing down and diving the back line, only to get turned on by 3-5 people instantly and blown up. You still live 5-10 seconds which is awhile considering you’re taking multiple dmg builders full kits. I’m not a great solo laner and I fall into that trap myself, but I’m a solid support and I’ve noticed my solos being over zealous without the jg back up when they dive and then freaking out they have no follow up.

My Problem is the time of taking kits feels more toward the 5 seconds then the 10. 10 feel generous, i die fast. I understand they're full kits, but if you have nothing but protections you should actually be able to eat damage. I'd be ok if tanks did 0 damage if we could just be real tanks.

@@Rezulince idk man herc does stupid damage full tank, tyr is in a really good spot and has some of the better inititaion in the game now, its either beads or a kill if you land the stun, sun wu kong can do 15% hp every like 10 seconds to the back line by poking them with cudgel, its just positioning really. your job is to disrupt not kill

Whatever happened with matchmaking this season is just rough. I'm a Solo main but I've been forced to play carry/jungle, and even dropping double digits I'm still losing games badly cause of teammates. I'm not saying I'm a great player (probably high gold-low plat right now) but being stuck in silver hurts

It's at least good to know I'm not the only one experiencing this. I play well, but my teammates... I swear some of them have played 4 games before joining my team. Awful positioning, movement, builds, etc. People just seem way less experienced in general, so much so you can tell it's literally the matchmaking. Embrace the salt Mast.

Dude antisnowball fuuuuckdd up the game IMO. I’ve been like 6-1 with a 5 kill streak, 3 level lead, 2k gold lead, for my opponent to get a killing blown on a 3 man gank, then they are immediately caught up and take all the pressure I worked for. I started toying with the idea of when I know I’m good to die without giving credit for a kill to a player I’ll just run to a tower to reset my kill streak just so the enemy doesn’t get the exp boost, they only get a little bit of team gold. Seems to work out decently but they still catch up, just not as much.
