The plaintiff hired and paid the defendant to provide a D.J. for a party. However, the defendant called a day before and said the D.J. got into a car accident. The defendant hasn't provided a refund, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant insists the plaintiff is the one who canceled hours before the party.

It's actually insane that the business and owner name can be protected from the TV show when the court case would make it public record. Pain and suffering isn't compensable on a contracts case, but smearing the name of the business on national TV would be good enough compensation for me if i was the plaintiff.

That would explain why he thought the "no refund" applied and why he reversed the charges.
