Congrats bro, I am not doing jobs but you can expect your in-hand salary to be roughly about 20-35% less then ctc, I too got an offer for a job (I applied for fun and got an offer letter) which gave me CTC of 3.5 lpa but I was only getting 25k in hand.

I graduated from IIT Madras in 2014. I work in Panbahar pan masala company as a SDE, my CTC is 1.2 crores but I get only 3.5 lakhs per month. It feels like a scam. I am currently working for them only because of the excellent work life balance and on site postings to Portugal.

HRA first option is incorrectly conveyed, it is calculated as (Actual rent paid-10%of basic), not 10%of basic. 5:24

With new atax regime all the salary is 100% taxable (except standard deduction). So it's much better to have high basic salary than high allowance. Because remember your PF and Gratuity is calculated on the basic salary, not allowance

I'm working in so called MNC named EXL, They give me salary hike of 500rs as per my 2 year previous experience on joining time. My CTC is 2Lac and basic pay is 14000 but they cut 1 side pf from my basic pay and 1 side of pd from my CTC. I got 12 thousand In hand and the shift timings is 9 hrs with 1hr break in it but they force you to do over time for 3hr extra and they pay 70rs per hour. In trapped here
