Hey guys! I got sent over here this morning to say my truck got posted on their KZbin. I just wanted to say thank you to fluid motor Union for the amount of time and effort being put into this truck. It turned into a big headache, not on their end, insurance was being a bit of a hassle, but fluid motor union has put extra care and effort into this vehicle. I can’t thank them enough. To respond to some people. This is just a toy for me, it’s used to tow my Nautique wakeboard boat and the occasional drive to work. I’m excited to see the completed project. Can’t recommend these guys enough. Thank you!

Upgrade to a Cognito 10" lift kit. RC is garbage.

@@saulGjr the only thing “truly” RC on it is the crossmember drops. Apoc 10 inch rear blocks, with add a leafs, and 1 inch lift shackles. Front has upgraded upper tubular arms, upgraded wheel bearings, and cranked 10 inch vertex struts. I’m swapping over to kryptonite upper arms, only thing that will be left RC is my crossmember drops

@@saulGjr when I get the truck back. It’s getting lifted up another 4 inches so it’ll be a total of 16 inches of lift, going on those 26x16 on 38s15.50. As well as some frame covers and mammoth guards going in wheel wells. Tons going into this

This is an easy job and it won’t take months to get parts from rough country I’ve ordered individual parts for jobs just like this and I’ve either got them overnighted due to warranty or 2-3 business days this is an easy job

You could use a rachet strap around the tire to spread it out and get it back on the bead. Done it several times on off road jeep.

Nice truck. We’ve seen that before. Usually a hub bearing failure leading to all that or an aftermarket wheel falling off. plus some of the Chevy trucks have an aluminum or steel knuckle choice and they have a different ball joint taper,so you have to swap out the A-arms or ball joints to go to some style knuckles if your truck started with the wrong knuckles for a direct swap. Just a pain in the ass

Rough country has a kick ass warranty they replaced everything free of Charge! Not great quality parts but the customer service is great 👍

Gee, big surprise that the wheel bearings are shot, considering all that offset. Guess the owner hasn't learned anything from the looks of the new wheels. Obviously it was being driven with shot wheel bearings, which is probably why it was crashed. Stupid is as stupid does!

Should put that jack on the passenger side near the front door there is jack points and use a jack stand to hold up the front lmfao 🤣 😂 guy dropped that truck on the jack 2 times 3rd times the charm right✅️ . Got a 6 lifted nissan frontier I use the badlands offroad jack to help jack it up also.

The front tires should freely spin it’s only in 4wd if you put it in so it should be rear wheel only till then. I woulda just replaced the hub in the parking lot lol

“What do you do when it’s time to replace and repair” Easy… you replace and repair it. If it takes 2 weeks. So be it. If it takes 2 months… so be it. If you have to replace the components for an entirely new setup.. so be it. That’s the cost that comes with modifications. If the owner wasn’t ready to accept that, he has no choice now.

I’m the owner. I had no issue replacing it all, actually I want too so I can lift it higher and go bigger this time. I had specialty coverage for my insurance that covered all the parts on there, that took forever to get figured out, hopefully they post finished project and keep you guys up to date, but this thing is going to be wayyyyy bigger than it is now 😂

They’re upgraded rotor and pads. Drilled and slotted. New calipers I had installed too. Everything has been upgraded. Tows my 9,000 pound boat with no issues at all

I’m now putting these 26x16s forged on 38s, on and going up another 4 inches. And you’re right, it’s not my only vehicle, it’s just one of my toys I have fun with. But thank you!
