Hey Wendy, as someone thinking about chasing my "what if" curiosity about acting, i think of all the "that guy" characters i watched growing up. Some of which arent around anymore, and some just now getting their respect. Even the public says "damn this guy must really love what he does". Like life, ya get what you put in. Thanks for your inspiration, and for telling it like it is.

Wendy, this was a very sobering message for me! Thanks for the wake-up call! No, really! Thanks! (No, I'm not the guy she's talking about! But I (used to, effective immediately) have a similar inclination, for sure!)

Ahh! When you said you received an email, I knew what it was going to say! Thanks for sharing, Wendy. I’ve been acting, in Hollywood, also for 20+ yrs. & I teach classes & coach. I’ve had clients lately who, don’t listen & it makes me sad. I thought I’d always maintain the will & positive attitude to stay strong, no matter what. But, it’s hard, sometimes. You have to let them go by. So, know that when you share your heart, you help your compadres keep their heads up! Xo

9:00 Wendy is right about not having a career if you start out being "difficult'. However.....we know of MANY big box office, big money-making stars who, after developing a very successful career, have become totally mean and abusive tyrants or in some cases total control freaks over people and projects. But this happens in every profession.

Watching your videos and reading your books alone have transformed my resume, reel, social media setup and development of my own content. You don't know me personally but I have a presence. I'm determined, hardworking and have a great support team of artists who are the same. So, Don't be surprised when you see your name in the Thank you credits in a Heartland film Festival movie. I play your youtube vidoes in the car on the way to work and just listen and connect some of the dots in the business that I don't know about. Grateful.

Nefertari Nzinga Know your character.who they're talking to during the monologue? What's their relationship with that person? How does that impact the monologue? What past experiences has the character had that they bring up to life through this monologue? You can even take each sentence of the monologue and give it a meaning.Create a person who you become during the monologue.Talk from their perspective (like it's your own) without any added dramatic movement if the character doesn't require it.Just like a normal person would hold a personal speech.

If that’s his goal.. then that’s his goal. Can’t blame the man for having high expectations for himself. It may have been that you took it personal. “He’s an idiot, he’s a moron” .. even if he rubbed you the wrong way, you don’t have to label him as such. But then again I guess being a well connected manager gives you “okay” to talk about him like this. Now I’m not agreeing with the man’s actions but I am disagreeing with how the “manager” goes to KZbin and call the person names. I mean was it possible to state the do’s and don’t without calling him names.
