I lived in the Antelope Valley/Rosamond which is pretty much exactly that place. It's like an hour from LA but still part of LA county for some reason. Pure desert and tumble weeds as far as the eye can see. With equal as much trailer trash people like Trevor.

Tornado watch, not a warning. A tornado watch is to be mindful that a warning COULD happen due to a heavy storm. He lives in the Midwest, same as me. We get a ton of warnings, but the tornados pretty much never actually land on the ground.
