There are GPUs that offer much better value than what you're listing as "Deals". The 6750 XT, 7700 XT, and 7800 XT are all decent bargains right now. For under $500, NVIDIA cards don't make much sense since they're not good value, and even powerful enough and lack the required VRAM to fully utilize their ray-tracing features and if you're spending around $500 or more, the best option is to wait for NVIDIA's next-gen GPUs, as the current 8-12% discounts aren't worth mentioning at this point.

I've watched his reviews, and he clearly favors NVIDIA. When AMD GPUs are faster, he downplays it with comments about power usage or DLSS. But when NVIDIA is just 5 FPS ahead, he acts like AMD is way behind. Double standards.
@amzgamingxАй бұрын
@@theoddwayin-s8l I’ve seen his videos and I get his point. NVIDIA has the better features, AMD is two generations behind in ray tracing and FSR 3/FG can’t match NVIDIA’s for quality. However for under $500 AMD is the better deal, and software features make less sense...personally I’d go for the GPU that offers the best overall performance for price. The RX 6750 XT with 12GB VRAM outperforms the 4060 by 15-20% at the same price. The 7700 XT beats the 4060 Ti for way less money. The 7800 XT, with 16GB VRAM, is faster than the 4070 by small margin and a is the cheaper GPU. That said, I understand why some would choose the 4070. It has 12GB VRAM which is enough for 1440p, it's the real entry level for good ray tracing, DLSS/frame gen make more sense as its got the performance and VRAM to take advantage of it and overall better efficiency. So the small performance loss doesn't matter to me but it all comes down to what you prioritize. When I’m spending over $500 on a GPU, it’s hard to ignore the advantages of those features. Ray tracing is quickly becoming a standard, and you need a more powerful GPU along with DLSS/Frame Gen to fully take advantage of it. At this price range, waiting for the next-gen models makes more sense, as they’ll definitely offer some significant generational improvements

should i wait for 5060 or get 4060ti ? I am build my first gaming PC
@theivadimАй бұрын
I’d go for an RTX 4060 to enjoy gaming for now, then upgrade to the 5060 if it turns out to be worth it. You can simply sell the 4060 to recoup most of the cost for the 5060. The 4060 Ti is not a great GPU in terms of value. Especially, if we're talking about the 8GB version. That one sucks.

found rx 7900 xtx on 840$ instead of 1000$ should i buy? or should i wait and see if the rtx 4080 will be on sale? it cost 1100$ right now
@mr.ethical1050Ай бұрын
id wait on the 7900xtx, the 4080 will not go down anytime soon unless Nividia releases their 5000 series gpus. Even then I don't see the 4080 going down much, maybe $1000 flat. At that point you have to ask yourself, do you want ray tracing or not, if not for for the 7900xtx, way better price to performance.
@mr.ethical1050Ай бұрын
So to answer your question id say $840 is a solid price for amds top of the line 7900xtx.
@theivadimАй бұрын
I doubt there will be any significant sales on the 4080/4080 SUPER, as NVIDIA is winding down production in preparation for the RTX 50-series launch early next year. Additionally, $840 for the 7900 XTX is far from a fantastic deal. If you’re value-oriented, buying a high-end GPU right now isn’t the best choice. If you currently don’t have a GPU and want to play some games in the meantime, I’d recommend picking up something like the RTX 4070 or 4070 SUPER. You can enjoy gaming over the next few months, then upgrade to the RTX 5080 and sell the 4070 to recoup some of the cost. However, if you already have a working GPU, I’d suggest waiting for the RTX 50-series launch. NVIDIA is expected to reveal the new GPUs in January, with a launch shortly afterward.
