I’m in the US, when I bought my 20gb 7900 xt last year my options were the 4070ti for at minimum $800 with 12gb vram or $1200 for a 4080. I of course opted for the $710 7900xt. Nvidia sucks, don’t buy into the hype.

Even 4080 and 4090 need dlss and frame gen with path tracing. Due to latency, a native framerate of like 34 or 35 is like the minimum for a decent experience with frame generation.

In 1440p I hardly ever find a good use for dlss. I also own a 4070ti super and I wouldn’t have spent $900 on it if I wanted dlss ruining my beautiful picture. Dlss every once in a while will do something good for a game I’m playing, but almost always, it’s better to not have the latency or blurry picture it provides you. Never even tried frame gen yet since I bought my 4070 but I assume it’s not for me. I own a pc bc I dont like long latency and I love crystal clear images. My point is, I wish game devs or whoever is responsible for making sure a game is optimized would start doing their jobs better. At this point games are going to be so unoptimized that you need a high end gpu or playing on pc isnt going to be worth it.

Everyone did praise that Indiana game to be well optimized. Now everyone complain on the same game being unoptimized, because in full RT, it barely run. PT is heavy. If without PT the game still run crap, with a powerful GPU/CPU combo, than the game truly is unoptimized. If instead there's the absurd idea that games should run native, with PT on 80+ FPS, than I suggest to those people to optimize they'r brain or just turn off PT.

Dont use Full Ray Tracing its just not worth it for the performance hit it takes even the RTX 5000 series gpu will probably struggle even while performing better than the rtx 4000 series gpu we are just not there yet for FRT.

It would depend on the game studios I feel like. How competent they are in terms of optimization and not relying on those to make the game look great while being enjoyable.

I think so, yes. Ray tracing is the natural next step in real-time 3D graphics. Once hardware advances to the point where the performance cost of running ray tracing isn’t as significant, it will likely become the default method for global illumination in game development. However, we’re still quite far from that point-it could take two, three, or even more GPU generations to get there.

Cant speak for cyberpunk but the main problem with games like stalker is unreal engine. Epic Games focus's too much on upgrading there nanite and path-tracing, with it your getting diminishing returns because of it so the gpus cant keep up unless you get a 4090 or better.

From typical viewing distance 1080p completely fališ appart in my oppinion on 31.5" monitor that I used couple of years ago. Increasing the distance to 2.5m or so(8 and/half feet)on 55"TV even 1080p looks Ok in my humblest oppinion.

Native 1080p is much worse than 2K DLSS Quality and it's even more worse than 4K DLSS Performance. It doesn't have sense to use 4070 Ti Super for 1080p. I also have bought 4080 Super for 2K monitor, but I understood that it was useless for 2K, cos it's too strong. That's why I changed 2K to 4K monitor. For 1080p just use 4060ti as maximum

It’s called progress. New technologies often come with some teething issues at the start. However, once a technology matures and becomes an integral part of our everyday lives, making things better or easier, we tend to take it for granted. Embrace progress. That said, you don’t have to rush into buying higher-tier GPUs to support ray tracing today. Just wait until all GPUs can handle it at a level that doesn’t result in a major performance drop.

@@afos88 Yes, VA has nice colors but the one in the video is very slow. The arrows in the game menu smear when scrolling. Or he should adjust the overdrive correctly, maybe then it will be better. Otherwise, you should get a faster VA with MPRT 0.5 for gaming. I have one of these here and it is the only one of the 3 that I tested that is suitable for gaming.

Many companies are making compact cases, but I prefer big cases because they’re easier to work with. You don’t have to worry about fitting large components-everything fits with room to spare.

@@theivadim I get what you’re saying it probably just comes down to personal preference. I personally prefer medium-sized rectangle cases. They’re more compact, easier to move without worrying about breaking glass, and still fit all the components I need. My white Corsair Carbide 400C is a great example of a case that’s both functional and aesthetic!

I see what you mean. Yeah, that Corsair case hits a great sweet spot in terms of size. I also like cases like that. My all-time favorite is the be quiet! Pure Base 500 FX because it comes with four premium fans pre-installed.
