Do you remember Plasmonic Leach? I would hear often DOMINO was the console to get as PL was in its day. As you know, PL was nerfed some time back. There's benefits when something is hard to obtain, it retains its value. I fear if everyone has access to DOMINO, it will receive the same fate as my beloved PL.

I just played the Event TFO, Borg Royale. Its on 'Normal' TFO setting, but...bring your Elite level toon. Once you reach final wave you'll understand why. Great content man! Cant wait to see your walkthrough on event TFO and Mission.

Definitely better than I had thought. I re-read it several times in disbelief. I wasn't super hyped initially since the Phoenix Epic tier is where some starships go to fade away or have faded away, but having every character earn such token adds significant value to it. Kudos to Cryptic's thinking on this including the anti exploitive mechanic. The only negative, if I'm understanding it all, is a player could have (4) toons with each of the Breen ships, but a player can't have (1) toon with all (4) Breen ships.

I'm pumped. Granted I do have all the ships. But my main concern, is where do we go from here? This upcoming event rewards are setting a huge precedence for future events. Will they match, or exceed this going forward, or will they do a 180...kind of like what happened with the 10th Anniversary Bundle compared to the 11th?

Maybe Cryptic is starting to realize that if you don't start giving players stuff easier and not forcing greedy bundles down our throats, the game MAY NOT survive. Still, the game is literally an ongoing alpha game the way the rubberbanding is STILL persistant and will never get addressed. I just hope if and when a new Star Trek mmo is made, that is addressed and never happens again.

The new TFO is fine, reminds me of the Arena of Sompek event from a few years back. If you're kitted out fairly well this event is pretty easy but still entertaining; I'm enjoying it but I really liked Sompek. I appreciate the new rewards as well. I've been in the game since 2015 so have most of the ships but always thought about picking up the Samsar. I know it hasn't aged well but for free why not. Anyway, thanks for the great video. O_o good lord that is a HUGE incentive....to either run the episodes 20 times....or flat out buy it with zen. From my understanding, this more or less gives a permanent 1 off epic token per character on the account.....and for any characters made AFTER the completed event right?

@MC Stu, I don't know if you'll see this, but I wanted to thank you. Can I just say, I grew up a trekkie, and I've always had learning difficulties. Spec-ed classes, and required very patient teachers, explaining the same thing four or five times, using different methods, including examples, just for me to understand. I'm also a very visual learner. I was even allowed to record classes so I can listen to the same sentence as many times as it took me to get it. I often find the need to ask several small questions, so I can get small bit-sized answers about different details of the same subject. I've even developed a way to spread those questions out to several sources and people, as I realized it was getting on their nerves. This way each person thinks I'm asking a normal amount. I've pretty new to STO, about a year in, but always been a gamer(Although different background- Age of Empires/Mythology type). This game been my fav ever since I started playing. The problem is, it's always been above me. The more I get info, the more info there is, and I have trouble absorbing it all. I knew that there was something big happening soon, and I couldn't quite understand. Often when I look for info about these events, I see people talk a lot about it, but there's no step-by-step visual guide, it's not detailed, and only explained once(reasonably, as most people only need one explanation). But you've really been a big help. This video is a great example- explained slowly and clearly, detailed, approached and repeated from different angles, and visually showcased step-by-step. I finally got it. What a breather. You've become my number one source of finding info for this very reason, thank you so so much!!!

Hello, new player here. I have a character I've managed to get up to level 38 in the past week or so and I've been looking at what ship I want to get at level 40 and you said something near the end of this that confused me. With this token, if I make two more character (to have one of each type of Science, Engineer, Tactical) they'll get a T6 ship right from level 1? Or will it just be hanging onto the token until level 50, or will the ship be scaled in some way?

On new character, as soon as the event tab/reclaim is unlock, I think its level 10. You can reclaim the epic token and choose a ship with it for that character. The ship will scale with the level of that character

Hi can you help me with advice. I've completed all the 2024 event except the current. It's a good day to die .. I've been sick and unable to play so I just got on its Sept8 2024 I had enough dilithium to convert to zen so I did buyout this event but I didn't get the final rewards and bar says 80% full but rewards i got a phenix token but not the rewards promised ship choices lobi the main reward 4 days left. 🥵 .

No if you discharge, you can't reclaim the ship or the token.

The Devs put out a statement that this epic token would not be down gradable. You can only use it to get a ship.

You reclame the consoles on other toons right? so like if you don't have any of the Breen ships and have the alts to to take all the Breen ships you can't fly them all on one toon but you can complete the console set for one Breen ship right?

No, You can only recliam the token on each character and then get a ship with it. It does not unlock the ships nor their consoles.

That's quite awesome, I personally don't have much interest for those ships, actually I'm only interested in a few ships in the whole game. Which some I have already acquired, like the T6 Mirror Intrepid, the Mirror Galaxy Dreadnought pack and the Mirror Odyssey, now I only want the Kelvin constitution and the Vengeance On a totally different matter, I'm wondering how you split the ability tray? I remember managing that months ago, but now can't seem to figure it out how to do it again? I wanted to have two separate rows Anyway, cool heads up on the event details👍

I am extremely pumped over this while my account was the first created back in 2012. I really didn’t play due to the computer not being able to handle the game. I came back about the same time you did stew around 2018 so the only event ship I got are from that point on now I can finally create a couple of character ideas that are tied to ship types. The best thing, I think, is that every character from now on can get a ship thats at least playable at lvl 65, instead of that wall tgat required a buy in to even stay playing reasonably.

Don't really get your logic since all the ships from the epic token were event ships so either way you'd have to do an event to gain access to a endgame ship. Only difference here is you're getting a choice.

Already have 3 epic tokens and nothing to use them on. 500 lobi? No big deal. And last mission was bad. I expect the new one to be the same. And the new TFO? Hard pass. Craptic isn't going to do them fairly. No point. I am still eagerly awaiting the day where STO is taken away from Craptic. And they lose their jobs. Come on DECA. Hurry up!!!!
