I’ve got a ton without spending a dime so… I could make a decent Arcticuno EX or Charizard EX at this point, maybe using some pack points because I’ve been unlucky with Sabrina, but I have more than enough points for a playset of her with instead having two Misty

I have played for like 4 days and I have all the cards from the mewtwo pack except Gardevoir that I had to craft, the golden mewtwo and the full art versions of Giovanni and Koga. It isn't as hard as you make it sound trust me. You just need to focus on 1 single pack and the more you pull the less you woll find duplicates and instead full art and rare cards. I think the game deliberately tries to avoid you pulling copies in order to make you waste more packs if you want 4 copies of some cards to give them the estetic upgrade but at the same time this means that pulling different high rarity cards is incredibly easy. I get 1 Ex or Full art every 3 to 4 packs. By doing events and missions you easily pull 4-5 packs each day. If you really grind it like I did the forst 2 days you can pull dozens of packs in the forst 2 days from all the free hpurglass given by missions and by leveling up.

That is exactly why I don't like red cards in my decks, risky plays like that. Many often use professor oak too, so they just draw that and get their cards back anyway, wasting your card slot.

​@@PocketJason Red card is good when you combo it with scope, can delay certain plays so hard, it works in certain low Pokemon decks, like Articuno EX, to fill out the deck with cards that aren't Pokemon to guarantee pulling Articuno first turn. But i would call it a niche card that isn't an "Automatic include" .

Why double up on Sandslash instead of double Primeape? Also, good call going for reg Machamp instead of EX, extra 30 hp and 20 dmg for 2 points, is not worth it.

Sandslash is a more consistent long-term card that still has high damage all game. Mankey requires the initial setup of taking damage, so I value it more as a strong opener, more than a main purpose of the deck. Also, not everyone has double event Mankey, so I factored that into the deck design as well. Thank you for your comment :) !

I'm sorry, but Ragna was an idiot. He Red Carded you when you only had two cards? and were unable to evolve! Why? That play pretty much costed him the game. PSA: Red Cards are TERRIBLE in a 20 card game. Only include it if you need to fill your deck, and only use it if the opponent has 5+ cards in the first 2-3 rounds.
