He was initially blacklisted after "Tramadol nights" but he soon got into line. Frankie was always left wing, but now he moved further into woke left ideological territory to curry favour with the BBC. Not knocking him for that, but it is what it is. So now he likes to be a gatekeeper for comedy. He can hate on Gervais all he wants but imo a lot of that is based on an envy of knowing that Gervais kept his comedic integrity.
