one of the most reputable long range replacement tank producers do their due diligence when designing, they share all the information thru their portal or reps, thus.. they do have provisions on the sender units if they require to be adjusted; "If we cant modify the OEM sender to suit the new tank our kits are supplied with a longer direct replacement float arms to improve the accuracy, this speeds up the fitting time and no soldering or brazing on wire extensions to the OEM float arm.."
