I was going full offense with the phys sabo by using Zealotry in the aura mix and changing it for Grace was a considerable boost in survivability which compensates the loss in damage because it´s still really high

At least for Scourge specifically, defensive layers seem to be quite good. Damage I feel is still king for boss farming.

As a mana miner it sucks not having access to at least 1 defensive aura (grace or determination) without having to sacrifice DPS.

I've also noticed spell suppression is really easy to get on gear. Like 50% just from gear and that seems fairly high.

Also you can use the watcher eye "Unaffected by Vulnerability while affected by Determination"' if you find one with your main aura and they not cost too much.

@@thefilth7368 that not a wasted socket jewel almost 90% of the poeple who is watching can't even afford a watcher's eye with 2 stat of the same aura or the main aura (damage) and another one like precision or anything else. So its better to have your main aura (damage) and a usefull one like "Unaffected by Vulnerability while affected by Determination" than having something totaly useless like some shit purity of X element.

Man it turns out the defensive overhaul after a while just made every character use the same basic setup. Turned out to be super unhealthy when they reintroduced archnemsis into the core game which almost makes them mandatory. Just a weird retrospective.

Nice video ducks, however as a newbie some of what you said went straight over my head. Could you do a PIE for idiots video which highlights things newbies should & shouldn't do. Other games A.C. is very important & so are Are, not & sex. I'm finding that's not so important here. I have made a lightning witch who is a glass cannon.

Yeah my sabo is slow, but with march of the legion I use few auras more. Grace determination for def. One hits, freezes most bosses, ofc end game is hard for me and I am really bad player there but still can chew through t16s :) On the other hand my alt with frost blades/leap slam/flicker with soulthirst is best char I ran for white yellow map scourge. I guess arc caster could be similar or slightly better. Gotta fix the defs and DPS for red map bosses.

14 masteries on the same build ?! I completely understand that you were looking for a wind of fresh air in PoE, but I have been reviewing my builds and their passive tree in standard (34 out of 40 so far) and on average I grant them 2 life masteries and 1-3 other ones, which makes for an average of 3-5 per build. I'm not sure what is the best formula here, just happy to share my view with someone of experience. Stay safe and remember , real life comes first ;-)

unless u're running 2 or 3 clusters then i've seen many builds easily use 8 masteries since they yield immense power

It's not that uncommon to have over 7-8 masteries, for example: 2 life ones, 1 aura, 1 impale, 2 armour, 1 sword

Armour is actually very effective. If your armour is 200 and the incoming raw damage is 7000, you'll block 39.77 damage. which is about 1 damage blocked for every 5 armour. if your armour is 7k vs 7k damage hit, you block 1166.67 damage, which is around 1 damage blocked for every 7 armour.
