Just wondering if I could use the white primer from one hit wonder and clear coat it ? Really want just a white slide to accent my gold barrel.

Yes you can

Love it! How long do you soak your parts in acetone for? And what types of parts can be soaked in acetone? I’ve been hearing plastics and woods can’t be soaked in acetone.
@AllThingsFunHydrographics2 жыл бұрын
Wood and plastics do not go in acetone. Metal parts I soak overnight.

Hey Chris! I'm always impressed with the quality of your finished product and I watch your videos (over and over) trying to analyze and replicate what you're doing. Of course, I've watched your gun setup vid and I count 1000-1 (per foot), etc. but I still get pinholes in the finished product. I even purchased a Devilbiss GPI for the best shot at success. I've got the 1.4 tip installed and was running around 8 psi as recommended by Jim. I notice that you always make a lot of activator passes (in this video especially). If I make more than two (or one slow one), I'm over-activated. How are you able to make so many passes and wind up with a perfect dip? Thanks Man! RoscoeB
@AllThingsFunHydrographics2 жыл бұрын
Lots of practice and time reading films. Also the kind of activator matters a lot. Exactly why I recommend having several activators on hand at all time. I use a 1.8 tip and very low pressure (around 5 psi)

Well, you can't argue against expertise. Based on your experience, I think I'll play around with the 1.8 and lower pressure. Thanks for sharing Chris!

Hey Chris can you dip .50 cal shells or 30mm shells? If so what is the best procedure to do so?
@AllThingsFunHydrographics2 жыл бұрын
I have never tried to dip shells. I am sure it can be done will just take some practice.
@pewpro9412 жыл бұрын
you may have answered this in a past video but why do you dip half then rinse and dip the other half opposed to doing it in one piece at an angle?
@AllThingsFunHydrographics2 жыл бұрын
I have 2 whole video about double dipping and explain in depth about it.
