“Panic buying” is largely a myth. It’s a way for retailers to blame consumers for their own failings due to liberalization of our economy. Toilet paper is more problematic relative to other items due to it taking up a lot of space, this makes it expensive to ship and keep in inventory.

I take a few rifles at a time, ive attached barrel stilts to make the rifles more manageable, they take up less space in the booth when i can lean the barrel down up aginst the wall. They are also easier to pass to my sons, and the muzzle stays pointed into the floor the whole time 😅

Here in the UK. We are prepared. We get one session per month, its valuable. For useful, decent long range practice... (1500 - 2000 yards) There is no walking to the target. 3 to 4 hour drive ... Spend all day at the range (9am - 4-30pm) .... 3 - 4 hour drive home. Here in the UK a loaded mag, even if its not in the gun... The loaded mag alone is legally a loaded firearm... We cannot transport loaded magazines. I dont fancy the 5 years in prison and losing my rifle etc. Photographs and video will never appear... The ranges are Military ranges they dont allow pictures, unless someone snaps a group pic in the car park. Non military ranges are 25 - 30 yard indoor ranges... totally pointless and only useful for .22 rimfire, 5.56, 22-250 pop guns. They are not rated for .338 Lapua. (I asked)

People don't think about that but I blew a steel gong challenge match because of caffeine 300, 600 and 1000 yards 1.5 MOA plates at each distance and I was shooting a 20 inch DMR with 77gr SMK handloads. You shoot 10 rounds at each distance with 2 sighters at 600 and 2 at 1000. I went 5 for 10 at 1000 and it cost me the money spot

Nah I want my training to be as realistic as possible, that’s why I slam two cans of Monster on the 20-minute drive to my range. How else can I plan for an encounter where I’ll be shaking the whole time I’m shooting and peeing myself? This is not kept in my range bag, but I like to keep a Range Day Log. This consists of the amount of ammo that was shot and the type of ammo. This helps me to keep up with the round count for the particular firearm(s). It also consists of what was done for the day, failures, malfunctions if any & what I should be focusing on the next range day.
@derekmorrow1040
@derekmorrow1040 2 күн бұрын
Penny wise and pound short going to the range with all your mags loaded. After the first three mags, the shooter's grip will be inadequate for correct shooting. Stop and stuff your mags every three mags or so. Otherwise you're hosing the rest of that ammo to waste and not productive practice. The muscles of the hands simply cannot maintain a proper grip for constant range session of 10 mags with no breaks.
