Fun fact: when building his tower in NY, Trump hired a lot of polish migrants to work on the construction. They worked well over the legal limits even for overtime, and didn't pay the base rate nor the overtime for most of these workers. Such a businessman, much smart!

@@chronoallusion Tips come directly from customers, though. They already have loopholes to avoid paying taxes in exorbitant salaries. Trump is just pandering about the tips. Congress will never pass that. He’s going to give straight up tax cuts to the rich again.

Companies right now could offer to pay the income taxes on tips at least between the tip wage and the minimum wage. They already do payroll taxes on employees behalf.

I do agree that Louis could have worded it better to spacificly point out Trumps lack of empathy rather then empathy being impossible. On 0:37 he does specify that what he means is that even if you do empathise with experiences you've never had, you'll never fully understand them and will often have some stupid ass ideas on how to help because of your lack of experience.

From the dictionary: Sympathy is a feeling of sincere concern for someone who is experiencing something difficult or painful. Empathy involves actively sharing in the person’s emotional experience. Empathy requires you to share in a person's emotional experiences. If the person is rich and they've never been poor or homeless etc, it's much harder to share another person's emotional experience. But it's not impossible as many good people empathize with those who suffer because even if they have a better life now, they understand what it feels like from when they struggled too.

The first thing people tend to do with money is insulate themselves from problems. Once you have enough money, you're completely insulated, and you just cannot understand what life is like for people who still deal with problems every day.

Overtime is a waste of time and money. Workers are only good for about 4 hours and 30 mins. Beyond that, you see diminishing returns on their productivity. Why not just pay the worker more to not mess up in the first place?

It is satire that embellishes the all too real lack of critical thinking in America...in a sense, the lack of critical thinking of such a propagandized people does sort of make them a horde of screaming and annoying gremlins; often times political discussions between Americans turn loud and ugly.

It's been nine years, almost a decade of plenty of people explaining the things Trump has done, from taking advantage of people, to his crimes, to his corruption, to his hate speech and bigotry, to his affiliation with p*dophiles and neonazis and klansmen, and his many disproven lies. This is satire, it's not meant for Trump supporters and the message is a reminder of the lapse in logic and complete blind faith his people operate with.
