I'm going to VIR to camp in the infield this Friday, for a full weekend of IMSA. Can't wait. Dave, if you ever make it to the states, I highly recommend visiting VIR if you can. There's something going on there most weekends. Seeing this track in person really puts in perspective just how great of a circuit this is. One of my favorites. I'd also recommend visiting Road Atlanta too, if possible. The 3 story drop just before the start / finish line is mind blowing in person. No video or sim can do it justice.

I think you're asking for trouble if you go two wide into the esses. If something happens there, you are also to blame. I think Dave is in the wrong here with "Punty Roberto" he could've yielded as well. And a couple of laps later he does the same thing. He could've stayed to the left on the esses to not give the other guy room.
