Getting Jobs at Small Companies (when you came from a BIG one)

I think you should definitely add, that you gathered work experience in the big company but were not able to fully use that work experience due to complex organisational structures. Therefore you would like to use/apply/transfer your work experience to a small company with flat hierarchies and less impediments. By saying that, you tell them that you have experience and motivation for the new job at the small company, so everybody has a benefit. This is the known FAB strategy to some degree. *F*eature: What do you provide to the company *A*dvantage: How do you use that feature for yourself which makes you stand out? *B*enefit: How does this boost the productivity or efficiency of the company?

Great advice 👍.It's all about smoothness. If you want to go back into a big company use the same mindset. Always sing to the choir 🎶. Me: I just want to work on large scale interesting projects and enjoy the various opportunities for traveling and opportunity for growth.

How about if you respond by saying that you knew the company was smaller, (you did your research beforehand, the lower turnover is not a surprise to you). Say you wanted to work in a smaller environment where it can be easier to get things done and initiative is appreciated. Smaller, and newer companies, can be more open to suggestions, more willing to listen to new ideas!

Hey Don thanks for videos. I have a question. I've received a job offer and accepted it. And in a day i got another one, I said to second that I have one already and during the conversation they increased my package compensation. Can you advise is it acceptable to decline the first offer I already signed but I didn't yet started because of background check. ? Thanks in adavnce.
