I don't know a thing about baseball, and this is the first time I've encountered Mr. Harry Caray - but for some reason I love this man. He's obviously spent a LOT of time hearing his voice greatly amplified. His enunciation is incredible - I rely a bit on lip-reading, so they way he speaks is like having captions on and in bold. He seems like the sort of guy who, had he lived to see 2020, could make me feel alright about how the year has gone.

I grew up listening to Harry calling the Cardinals games in St. Louis. . .Couldn't believe it when they fired him. . .At one time in the 60's the Cardinals had a fantastic announce booth consisting of Harry Caray, Jack Buck, and Joe Garagiola. . .I loved listening to all three calling a Cardinals game. . .Even when the team wasn't doing well, Harry made the game fun to listen to. . .Those were the days. . .

The biggest steak 🥩 I ever saw on a plate! I thought to myself Chicago people like to live big. This is the big city and the steaks are big, too. I’m from a smaller city. So I highly recommend his restaurant! The food and atmosphere were fantastic but he wasn’t around anymore so that was my only regret. God Bless Harry Carey! What a Character!
