This is my neighbor's favorite song...whether they like it or not.

There is nothing like Nancy Wilson launching into those familiar chords with her hair blowing in the wind. That’s rock kids.

The record label didn’t want Nancy in the beginning and Anne told them she comes with me or I won’t sign. Can you imagine Heart without Nancy Wilson?

Probably the greatest female rock singer, performing their best song. This was a real rock band. Unbelievable performance and vocal range from Ann Wilson. She was truly unmatched. A real legendary band.

When I was 10, I remember my mom blasting this music through our house. Only now, at the age of 35, do I realize what great taste in music she had.

I was stationed at Ft. Hood Texas when this concert happened. Me and a couple buddies in my platoon went to Dallas and saw this. I was 19 years old and we paid something like 12 or 15 dollars for a ticket. WHAT !!! There was some heavy hitters:

I met Nancy the day of their first show in Rochester. I worked for the venue and was talking with a couple roadies I knew from previous bands they had worked. Nancy came in with a guitar she had just gotten from House of Guitars that she wanted her techie to check out. She sat and talked a little while and I thought what a pleasant lady. She asked what bands had played the arena that year, did I get to meet them, what’s Lou Graham like (he’s from Rochester area). I told her I thought the intro to Crazy was incredible and I couldn’t wait to see them do it live. It was just a cool half hour or so. That night I was on the floor at stage right when they started the song. She strutted around as usual ripping out the soul of that guitar. Then the pause. She looked right at me, smiled and high kicked that song into outer space!!!! I doubt she’d even remember but I doubt I can ever forget. I get the nearly same rush when I see that kick today as I did then.

Great song, I just heard of Ann Wilson's cancer diagnosis and the cancellation of her 2024 music tour, may she have a speedy recovery. God bless.
