Isn't it amazing how Dick Clark could weave his way in and out of a crowd like that, remembering names, movies, projects, etc that the performers were involved with at the time? Imagine "Ryan Seacrest" trying to pull something like this off....Dick Clark was truly one of a kind.

I was one of those kids Annette was talking about. I saw her on the reruns of the Mickey Mouse Club and got confused when we went to the drive-in and saw her as an adult in Beach Party. Couldn't connect it.

Funny how Annette sees Dick Clark on the microphone and suddenly she tries to make a getaway (1:05) and Dick Clark is telling her to just relax but she still looks nervous. I guess she didn't like to get caught off guard! Imagine how she'd feel nowadays where every thing you do or say anywhere and at any time could potentially end up on KZbin.
