makeup for this shoot (and his films of course), cosmetic fillers, the healthiest of calories money can buy, proper guidance (costs money for a trainer as the avg. man has no clue and CANNOT teach himself), I mean I can go on. I indeed CAN believe he is 60. tom cruise only shows tremendous aging due to his love of the sun and too much filler work but guys like Enrique Iglesias are the ones with the money who can stay youthful (he has fake hair since his 20s as he was balding in the video bailamos, go see).

At age 77, I agree that it is so important to maintain as healthy a lifestyle as possible. At age 60, I weighed in at 238 pounds with 6-pack abs and 20" arms. While in Iraq 2 years ago, I suffered from toxic chemical poisoning and was hospitalized for 5 months on a respirator. I was released at a body weight of 76 pounds, still sufferening from the after affects of the poison. With proper medical care, a strict diet and exercise, I have regained the majority of my former size and weigh-in at 225 pounds. The photo tab is my current age and weight. Age is NOT simply a number, it is a way of life. Cheers,

So did he defeat death?
@jayzee316 Жыл бұрын
in the 60-70s, when breast cancer really increased, doctors around the world talked to each other to figure things out, it happened in NA and EU, but when they spoke to doctor's in Hongkong, they scoffed "that rich women disease"? Because in HK you had extreme disparity where the rich people were eating like american/europeans, and the poor were just eating regular chinese food, mostly veggies and fish and definitely less meat. Same with diabetes, back when food was not made in factories, it was hard for anyone poor to get fat, get diabetes or get cancer (unless its smoking or job related).

10 to 15 mile walks everyday for me. I bring 5-6 beers and lots of weed. At about mile 3, "runner's high" kicks in just as I'm cracking open my second beer. Once runner's high kicks in, it's like your mind is clear and excited and your body could walk 25 miles. Runner's high is very real. When I take my shirt off at the beach, people gawk and women and some men take my picture. I am 57. My point is that even if you have a "bad" diet, if you exercise strenuously but not too much, then you will look good for a long time. And walking is very low impact. I could not run 10 miles without feeling pain, but I could walk 30 with zero pain.
@basicprogrammer6147 Жыл бұрын
@seashells-and-seashores It kicks in either way: running or walking. Mile 3 is the trigger mile for both. So, most people don't even need to run. To be honest, running kind of sucks, whereas walking is enjoyable the entire time. And in fact, I get far more injuries when I run. But walking does the opposite: it actually cures injuries. To get a glimpse of what "Runner's High" feels like, try this: Go outside, jog in place very slowly for about 5 minutes but barely lift your feet off the ground. You'll think, "this is doing nothing! I feel no pain!". Then start to go forward at a ridiculously low distance. You'll feel like a goof. But then, let the dogs out a little and dramatically lengthen your stride, almost to where it's becoming difficult. Be sure to prance, toes hitting the ground first. Then, immediately return to the baby steps and low distance. You'll feel a surge of euphoria. That's the beginning of runner's high.

Basically he eats everything healthy for you in balance. Not a vegan or vegetarian because the protein that chicken and fish gives you is necessary to the human diet. Healthy fats from avocados nuts and fish are essential. Dark chocolate and other things mentioned in the video help with positive blood flow. Him drinking red wine occasionally helps with his heart. Stretching plays a crucial role in injury prevention. Monday: Upper Body Energetic calisthenics routine focusing on the upper body, including arms and back. Tuesday: Running Approximately 40 minutes of running at varying intensities. May integrate an invigorating hill session for added energy. Wednesday: Core Workouts Core workouts with a significant cardio component. Thursday: Leg Exercises Exercises targeting the legs. Friday: Climbing Activities Allocated for climbing exercises. Saturday: Upper Body (Repeat of Monday) Focusing on the upper body once again. Sunday: Group Workouts Dedicated to group workouts with friends, making fitness a social and enjoyable endeavor. Dynamic warm up drills are great for warming up the body and reducing chances of injury. But static stretches can stretch the muscle beyond its usual range of motion and decrease stability before strength training. So static stretching should be saved for after a workout or on active recovery days.

Mobility is the key to at least feeling young. It does not matter if you are 20 or 70, if your joins hurt, you just don't feel young. I am 52 and I just started to work on my mobility. 2 years ago after years and years of running I realized that at 50 I could not walk down the stairs without pain. I started strength and mobility work. Now two years later, I feel much better. While I still have a long way to go, it is a work in progress. Be healthy and the fitness will take care of itself.

This is mostly from hard training in martial arts. Those who practice, know. There is something completely different with martial arts than with your typical fitness exercises. If you are capable of shadowboxing at lightning fast speeds, you will attain most of the benefits. This is because of the contractile force required to stop an object in motion. It is ten time greater than you could ever functionally achieve lifting a weight, and hits more muscle groups than you could ever functionally target with weights. This keeps the entire body youthful and spry.

But what I don’t get is why people hate on Bruce Lee who was visually 100 times more physically fit than Donnie and probably all the martial artists in the industry, but yet there’s so many negative and hurtful comments regarding his ability? I’m convinced that Bruce was just such a phenomenal athlete that haters envied him so much that they would say anything negative to try and diminish his giftedness. Fantastic video! Who doesn't love themselves some Donnie Yen? I think former NFL stars like Herschel Walker, Willie Gault, and Darrell Green would also be excellent case studies for this channel.

How many times a week does Mr. Yen spar "full contact" with gloves, shin guards, head and foot gear with real fighters?

When staying shape is a part of your job, its easy. Try doing it while holding a 9-5 and sometimes 2 jobs. Not as easy as it seems.

Smart man but I’d suggest pecan nuts and Macadamia nuts instead. Less,folic acid and less omega six. You want the right balance of omega three and six when it comes to nuts. I’m glad to report I follow a. Dry similar diet. He knows a lot about nutrition and i study it with passion.

Healthy lifestyle(nutrition, exercise, rest to name few important pieces)is important but one large factor in visually staying young is staying out of sun. Bathing in sunrays speeds up skin aging.

When asking random dude what martial art they practice : "I'm a student of the Kung-Fu school of Shaolin applied to the modern world for self-defense and competition" Donnie Yen : "Hmmm... it's kind of mixed. I don't remember so..." Right. Dude knows so many styles he can't remember which one he uses!!!!!!!!! Holyshit. How is that even possible?!
