@Combustible Lemon i agree. People arent smart enough to think logically for themselves. All they care about is how they hear about how a cop shoots an "unarmed minority" 5 to 6 times a year (99% of which are justified), and by default (because they easily believe what they hear in the media), think that cops literally get up each day with the intent of "shooting an unarmed minority". They are too stupid to think rationally and logically. If they (those who easily without question simply believe what they are being told in the MSM) had any brains, they would realize that annually, police officers have hundreds of thousands (if not more) of citizen interactions each year throughout the US, either from 911 calls, traffic issues, investigation issues, etc... Given the vast amount of citizen interactions annually, there would be almost daily shootings of unarmed minorities if what the dumbasses believe were true. People are so stupid, that they forgot or cant think rationally for themselves. Respectfully

You see, how can life come from nothing how did the big bang start if there was nothing if something caused the big bang then what caused that? think of train cars. If train car 1 is being pulled by train car 2, then how is train car 2 being pulled? There can't be an infinite amount of train cars, there has to be an engine at the end to pull everything there can't be infinite causes to the universe, there has to be a causer/creator that has not cause. This "creator" must be unique to everything It must be one. If there are two "creator's" then they will compete for power over the other. They would both be dependent on each other. There can only be one creator. If this creator depends on something else, then it is a part of the creation. The creator must be independent of everything. Everything depends on this creator this creator can't be the child of someone (or else the creator would be created) and the creator can't have children (because the creator is unique) Oh wait, if you go to the Quran and see chapter 112, verses 1-4, it says that 1: Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “He is Allah-One ˹and Indivisible˺; 2. Allah-the Sustainer ˹needed by all˺. 3. He has never had offspring, nor was He born. 4. And there is none comparable to Him.” There are only three religions Monotheisim Polytheisim Atheisim Monotheisim means that there is One creator Polytheisim means there are multiple creators, which caused each other, therefore they are dependent on each other, but the creator must be independent. Atheisim means that we somehow got here without any independent cause, but even though there was nothing, something somehow started causing things and we somehow ended up here See how the truth is simple and falsehood is complicated? Also how can atoms, particles, dead things, even make life? How are we moving? HOW? We are atoms! Atoms! Atoms are dead! They have no life! If you really think about it, you would be suprised your breathing! Why do we need oxygen, water, food, when we are made of dead things! Something must be keeping our hearts beating. That must be the creator.

Since this is a channel about police, I'd like to share a very nice story about the nicest police officer I have ever met. This happened in Canada, around 2005. I called my friend up one night and said I was feeling really down and needed somebody to talk to, so he said "why don't you walk over and spend the night?" so I walked over there, and we talked for a few hours. I started to feel overwhelmed by my emotions and said I thought it was best if I walked back home. He asked me if I was suicidal and I said that was a ridiculous question and of course I wasn't. I had tears in my eyes as I left but I gave him no reason whatsoever to think I was going to hurt myself, and I had no such plans. Anyways, for SOME reason, which I do not understand to this day, he called 911 and said his friend was suicidal, so as I'm walking home, all of a sudden two police cars pull up to me, and four officers get out and call me by my first name. I am extremely confused and unsure what the heck is going on so I ask them how they know my name and what is going on? That's when I met one of the nicest people I've ever met. This one male officer walked over to me and asked me if I was ok. I said I was ok but feeling down. He said my friend had called 911 and said I was suicidal. I said that was ridiculous and I was definitely not suicidal. He said "Listen man, I have some bad news for you you're not going to like... by the way do you smoke?" I said "Yes I smoke but I forgot my cigarettes at home". This man actually pulled a pack out of his squad car, handed me a cigarette, and lit it for me. It was my brand too. He asked me again if I was ok. I thanked him for being kind to me and said again I was ok and that all I wanted was to go home and go to sleep. He says "Listen my friend the bad news is that because your friend called 911, we're legally obligated to take you to the hospital for a psychiatric assessment". Now, I was 22 at the time, and that really rubbed me the wrong way, so I said I didn't want to go to the hospital and please just let me finish my walk home. He didn't respond to that. He goes "You like football?" I said no "Basketball?" I said I didn't really watch sports. He says "You like video games?" I said yes. He asked me what console I had and I told him I had an Xbox and he literally spent the next 10 minutes shooting the shit with me about Halo. The funny thing is, I really started to like this guy, which made me completely compliant, and I said I would come to the hospital. He asked me if I wanted another cigarette before I got in the car. I said no thank you. He and his partner drove me to the local hospital, and they waited with me for an hour (police here are obligated to wait with you until the psychiatrist assesses you in these situations). This man didn't need to talk to me this whole time, but he engaged with me the entire time. "You wanna buy a snack and a coffee from the snack machine?" I said "Nah, that's ok, I didn't bring my wallet with me". THIS MAN ACTUALLY HANDS ME TEN DOLLARS. And I look at it, and I'm like, "Did this man literally just give me ten dollars?" So I walk over to the snack machine and buy a bag of chips and I come back and give him the change. He says "keep it". We talked about movies, videogames, aquariums. Finally they take me in for assessment and tell the officers they can leave. I'm in there with the psychiatrist for like half an hour to convince her Im not suicidal. She says I'm free to go, and I think to myself it's a good thing that nice police man gave me some money so now I can take the bus home instead of walking. I come out of the hospital and THIS MAN IS STILL THERE. He tells me he's going to drive me home. I ask him why he's being so ridiculously nice to me. He says "Because that's the way people deserve to be treated". He drives me home, Gets out of the car and walks me to my porch. Hands me a few cigarettes, gives me his PERSONAL CELL PHONE NUMBER, and tells me any time I need someone to talk to I can call him. FUCKING LEGEND.

I get when people argue that mental health issues shouldn't be a death sentence but at the same time you can't just let someone run around and threaten or get violent with normal every day people just because they're sick - the utilitarian in me sees 1 person with mental health issues getting shot vs all the people he would be hurting were he to be left to his own devices and I'm ok with the decision to shoot.

I work in a hospital. It's easier to work with patients who did a triple by pass who had a stroke due to not enough of sweet heparin, than the mentally ill. To think that killing the mentally ill is acceptable is fucked. But to think that these people cannot hurt you is foolish. I've seen some of the shit they are capable of doing and it's animalistic, but at the same time; GIVE THESE PEOPLE THE CARE THEY NEED SO THIS SHIT DOESNT HAPPEN
