Loved the video, especially with mom in it. Seeing family is good. Getting the history & food of Jeju island is fascinating. I think this pairing of the mollusk (which in Hawaii, the Hawaiian culture was something that all the later generations also enjoyed) with noodles, kimchee and other vegetables is something that I hadn't seen in Japanese, Chinese, Filipino dishes before. It looks interesting. Growing up as a young kid, the family used to go rocky shoreline, picking the pinhead mollusks from the rocks, using a pin to pop them directly into our mouth, or collect them, simmer them in a pot and eat. These days, I don't do, but the larger shell mollusks is a highly prized and hard to harvest the larger mollusks, as the local culture has pretty much harvested from the easiest shorelines in Hawaii. Enjoy them in Jeju. Mahalo.

I’ve always enjoyed your videos. I especially love this docu kind coz it provides info and knowledge it makes me want to go to Jeju again and again. Love your explanation too, you’re really passionate abt food, knowledgeable and did research thoroughly. While this is a great quality video, i think there’s too much talking. Maybe u could make the eating or exploring part longer without commentary. Sometimes expression is a commentary itself and watching just visuals can give that healing or escapism feeling to viewers❤
