She is just the best. The best thing KZbin has to offer. She has the looks, the aesthetic, the knowledge, the taste, the banter, and everything you need from a content creator. The way she explains food makes you feel like you are simultaneously tasting it. The way she represents South Korea is poetic and artistic. The way she informs you in a historical context makes you feel very educated. Not a single second is wasted, this is the only content that I watch from start to finish. The replay value is damn high. What I do is; I actually savour her videos and watch them usually when I eat. There are times that I finish one video in 3 days because I don't wanna miss anything and she can always be my dinner friend. I love you so much and am so proud of you, keep up the good work. Godspeed.

He was so happy that he gave me a small cup of icecream for free! This year on my second trip, he actually recognized me. He remembered a very exact detail about me. 10 months later. i don't know why but this video really made me emotional. aside from being fascinated by korean culture and food, to the point of applying to a koreanology university, i feel more than ever the yearning in my heart and soul to explore, venture, and see the world. especially places like this. the part where you sit with your mom by the river, eat ramen, it's dark and there's just the sound of people talking, water, laughter, food and love... that's all i crave for and i just wish so badly to see as much as i can before i die. thank you for this video. i know this is just one comment in the sea of comments, but finding your youtube channel inspired me so much to not only start cooking again, but also prioritize myself and make some drastic life choices in order to make my dreams come true. so thank you for the courage, the comfort, the inspiration and safe place. ♥xx

When I was younger I grew up in Korea town in my city. My mom signed me up for this Taekwondo where all the instructors recently arrived from Korea. I would attend the Korean cultural festivals with my Taekwondo, they taught me how to say thank you, count in Korean and most importantly really shaped me in terms of discipline and self control. Because of growing up in Korea town I really enjoy Korean cuisine and overall really want to visit. My aunt said after I got my black belt she would take me. I got my black belt and she never did 😭. However I’m 22 now so I’m going to go next year with my friends. Thank you for your videos, they make me excited and hungry.

Excellent video tour and explaination of the foods for me to refamiliarize some of them and learn about others I didn't know of. I can say that I'm not a fusion or junk food foody, except for what's traditional. Your mom is spectacularly beautiful. It would have been a gorgeous site to see her in Hanbok. I spent 1 year in Uijeongbu city in 1997 when I was in the US Air Force, stationed at Camp Red Cloud. I turned 20 during my time there. I travelled around various parts of Seoul many times and went to Gyeongju city twice. I will never forget my time in Korea and I will always treasure that 1 best year of my life. I fell in love with what I was exposed to and will never forget the warmth I felt there from the people. Leaving Korea and leaving a very lovely special lady behind broke my heart. I had to wipe away my tears on the airplane. I have never returned since leaving, but I haven't forgotten how to read the language to probably a 75% proficiency, though I don't understand or speak Hangul beyond some phrases I learned. Thank you for accepting me into your country and culture. Forever live a free Korea!
