Suggestions: 1. A "war" card, where the nation can only take land from other nations, not colonize. 2. Land near water is cheaper to colonize. 3. Amplify the leader traits to make them more noticable. 4. Ability to make our own custom maps. 5. Leader traits affects the card chances. 6. Ability to decide the likelyhood of traits, in a similar way to how the likelyhood of cards can be decided. 7. Maybe make some sea related trait. 8. Amplify fort defense to land loss. 9. Maybe some button to randomly select a nation in the world. 10. More terrain types (like deserts, forests, etc) with differing effects on gameplay. 11. Maybe add some way for land to be uncolonized, similar to how like a tribe migrating.

I feel like the war card idea shouldn’t be in the game because the player should decide if they want a war to happen or not with the expand card and not be forced to create a war with the war card.

Here are a few ideas: - Adding a card that allows a country to puppet another - Star cities/Capitols - Flag Creator - A card that makes a country split up to 6 different ways (Mega Split) - A card that makes a city collapse - A card that demands a country move their capitol - Money and maybe a military strength system - Eventually a massive world map! - Perhaps little icons that you can move around which represent military divisions? - Roads (?) Silk road/trading? Keep up the good work!

In answer to your question, I'd love to see Macedon take to the stage as the new nation. As a helpful tip, I think that you don't have to create precise national or regional names for every split. It might be you want some rebellions, for example that tiny nation that broke from Serbia might just be called Serbian Rebels, or something. Indeed, you could also make nations of new regional groups.

When you reach a certain amount of cicles, the drawing mechanic allows you to paint only 100 pixels for any expansion (small, medium, large, new nation) and it only worsens as you go. Since you can't erase a map, it becomes unplayable, so a "delete saved worlds" feature would be useful too.

I commented this on the last video but I was a little late and don’t know if you saw it. I think it would be cool if the origin map mode kept regions conquered by another origin as their original origin rather than being overridden. This would allow nations to be made of more than one origin and could make it easier to pick a part of the country to split off when a split card is drawn. Love the game!!!

"Teinetalamh" A Celtic Colony along the sheltered far southern coast of Morocco would be awesome. A mix of Indigenous and Celtic culture far removed from the Celts. If Gaul were to split they'd likely not hear of it. The Indigenous Camels spread trade across the deep Sahara while Celtic Explorers search the Moroccan jungle, different to Gaul maybe... But if they got through Gaul they can get through this. In the senate of Teinetalamh constant bickering takes place, both the Moroccans and Celtic senators at each others necks. Even if the Colony is far removed and has ample space for expansion. How long can it remain united?

One idea I had was for nations traits to increase/decrease their chances of getting certain cards. For example, if further down the line you add 'government types' feudal/tribal type governments have a higher chance of getting split, while 'nomads' have more chance of getting large expand or conquer. EDIT: Or 'Thalassocracies' having a bonus when expanding on islands or coastlines.

A trade system would be really cool if you could implement ports, imagine having ports like Venice, Constantinople and Barcelona and then have trade agreements between Empires. Maybe a bit more Renaiscance than Ancient Europe but cool

I gave you some update examples, you can take a look if you want. 1: Players should delete the scenarios they saved as they wish, so they will have space to create new scenarios. 2: When new maps are added, events can be added to them. I think there is potential in this game :) (By the way, you can do without doing these, but I just gave some development examples.)

samll bug some times when the new nation card pops up the map freezes if you try to go a round the map (arrowkeys) with out naming the nation first as soon as you select a name its unfreezes related really minor bug as you name a nation if you use the aswd keys the map moves in their direction

And a place a fort in Prussia, called Stettin, and I want to check my laptop battery, so I save the game before closing. Normal, right? I think a nation in Central Anatolia would be good, but since you are using mostly Classical names, Phrygia, Cappadocia or Lydia would suit better than Hittites or Ottomans.

I had a suggestions. An option to draw 3 cards instead of 1 and having to pick out of the three. Because trying to roleplay a political intrigue and war between four nations and constantly getting Splits or New Nations is annoying, despite scaling the probabilities as low as I can. I end up naming the country "FUCK OFF" in frustration and painting an unimportant corner of the map, over and over again with 10 different FUCK OFF or NO nations. And end up rage quitting without saving. It might be a me problem to get this angry, but I think everyone could benefit from a 3 card draw system.
