When you zone out in class, just thinking about stuff and then suddenly realize what youre thinking about, and get confused AND amazed at the same time. Also you appear to like the thought and want to continue thinking about it. But realizing that took you about 5 minutes, and you already forgot what you were thinking about and all that you are left with are tons of weird scribbles on your homework and no idea what they mean. So for the last few minutes of class you try to figure out what you were thinking about, but then your teacher announces the homework, and graduation, and your marrige, is now your lawyer, relationship counsler, best friend, drunk guy next to you in a bar.... And... Now youre dead.... ...... Wait what?

QuietBiscuit This... You actually captured my own thoughts pretty well. I mean, I hate math. Why am I watching math videos? Well, it's interesting... But still, why? and I follow some of it but at some point she always loses me... *hears the hobbits tricksy part* OH MY GOODNESS DID YOU JUST... LORD OF THE RINGS/HOBBIT REFERENCE. YYYEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS... I SHALL FOREVER BE DEVOTED TO YOUR VIDEOS, OH VI HART... yeah i get overexcited about my fandoms. STILL THOUGH. *keeps listening* "...Smaug" EEEE ANOTHER ONE! ... also it's smowg I believe. BUT YAY. *video continues and begins to be all confusing and painty and calculating* Well, I don't even care 'cause still all warm and fuzzy from the references :D thus... her LotR Race? I'mma go ahead and say Elf, but could also be a Wizard. Actually, yeah, probably Wizard. ^u^ "...Sauron..." I have no idea why these are making me ridiculously happy, even more so than normally... by the way it's "Sow-ron"Maybe it's because this is about math, and I generally hate math. But EEEEEEEEEEEE I AM SO HAPPY INSIDE RIGHT NOW. THANK- I MEAN HANNON LE, VI HART. :') XD XD "dark master of 2-dimensional dungeon town" I love her thought processes... I shall continue drawing these in my spare time, oh Vi Hart the Great and Mathemagical. They're like mine, but way smarter and way more meticulous and math-y. This is a long comment. *shrug* whatever... "If Minecraft has taught you anything" YOU'RE A MINECRAFTER??? I MUST SEE WHAT YOU BUILD, IT WILL BE AMAZING... On second thought, it will probably make me feel so bad about my own creations that I'll curl up in some hobbit hole somewhere and cry. Actually if I was in a hobbit hole I'd stop crying and start- never mind, the list of things I'd do if I found myself in Middle-Earth is far too long for this comment which is far too long and oh goodness I think her rambling thoughts have infected me help- back to the video.

these videos were some of the first videos i watched on youtube. as a little 9 year old i had no idea what was going on (and i still don't really) but i would watch every video on this channel CONSTANTLY. this video just popped up on my recommended and my jaw dropped. this is so nostalgic honestly, i'm awful at math, and sometimes i wish i was good at it just so i could do stuff like this.

KazutoKirigaya well if the concept is learned in the end its alright, some people cant preform well in classes that are all just learn, learn, learn. I for instance need hands on thing experience and work to learn, and honestly if the concept is learned rather than a kid being confused because they dont understand the teaching methods used then it should be fine

In Estonia, we actually use a dot for multiplication like so: 3•4=12 My Maths teacher, a brit, does it too; Maybe it's a more old-fashioned thing? Also, for division we use 25:5=5 !:)
@tanexhanabira314810 жыл бұрын
Us Americans do to, but that isn't introduced until roughly 7th grade. For example, when i was little we would do 2x3=6, but when we start doing algebra, since x is a variable, we use dots to avoid confusion. Or, you could just use parenthesis.

We use an x for multiplication and an x that looks more like 2 cs joined together (One back to front) for algebra in the uk :)
@HJSDGCE9 жыл бұрын
Eliisabet Jahilo When I do calculations, I write the symbol for multiplication as an (x) but the algebra we also use the same symbol, except is wrote in a different style.The multiplication symbol is wrote using to strokes like (/) and (\) but the variable symbol we wrote it with one stroke like an (s) but in the shape of an (x).

Rogue-like implies that the game you are playing resets entirely once you die, not an infinitely generated dungeon, that's called a dungeon crawler.
