Midnight basically said it in one of the doom lore videos hes seen so much horror and stuff that will make any body insane but he got Used to it and hes fought and killed so much that he just goes through all of it every day like it's another say on the job which to him it is, every battle every kill it's just nothing to him he literally just goes with the flow so with all hes seen and done and lost he sees no need to talk, he learned how to make his actions speak for him that's why to me he will always be the best and most powerful character in video game history cuz he learned so quick and that's why he fights everything so easily they're nothing to him but another kill, another body and cuz he has more experience fighting not just fighting but fighting by him self with nothing with little to none resources and injured while fighting thousands and thousands of enemies. Nothing is his equal cuz his power constantly goes up.

I think I can see where some of these lines would have been used. The doom slayer's speech about the coming demons was probably intended to be used in the flashback where he first arrives in sentinel prime, where in the final release he just rambles madly about the demons and his desire to kill them all. It was probably changed because doomguy has always been a silent protagonist, and the devs didn't want to undermine that by giving him long winded speeches. The Khan mayker telling the slayer he was intended to enforce her will almost certainly was intended for when the slayer confronts the two surviving hell priests at the beginning of the game where she pretty much says the same thing. Don't know why they would have changed this one, maybe they just felt the final version sounded better. The Khan mayker's speech about returning the slayer to 7th dimension earth at a time before the demons attacked was probably intended to be heard when the goes to confront the demon gladiator and kill the final hell priest. In the final version she makes the same offer, but is more vague, just saying she'll return everything he lost to the demons. It was probably changed to keep some of the doomslayer's origin a mystery, and not spell out his entire backstory.

The doomguy's line is good it show the beginning of the level of sentinel prime while Samuel's lines was so awesome and encouraging and his speech is so great and finally khan maker is seem to be telling the truth. One more thing, the way the khan maker tried make doomguy her offer, it remind of punisher because one journey has began, there was no turning back for the doomguy. I had a funny cut scene in my mind, regarding the reawakening of the Icon, at the end of the Urdak chapter. The reason it's funny is that neither the Icon, nor the slayer speak. It goes something like this: Icon, reawakens, starts absorbing the life essence of the drones; then sees the slayer: "You!" Slayer: "Looks like I'll have to kill you, again" *pumps shotgun* I wanted to post this on an earlier video, but never got to it.

I don't think that's the case, the Maykrs are just alien creatures when she said she planted the seeds she probably meant that she allowed the night sentinels to arrive on Earth and live there thus creating the human race. The Maykrs were never harvesting argent energy before they met up with the Slayer, they only started after they figured out how to make argent energy. It's also cut content, which means that it's not always 100% canon

This was before the Marine arrived, and therefore before she knew anything about demons or Argent energy. Why would she go about converting planets to her worship before Argent energy was a thing? I'm asking 'cause I'm actually not clear on that point. I'd have to go back and re-read the codexes. Also, Earth was not unknown. Earth was colonized by the people of Argenta millions of years before humans took over the planet. They specifically colonized the arctic, which is where the Cultist base came from.

However according to the 2016 Codex, Vega was rumored to contain a component of "arcane technology" that was found near the Argent Fracture. Adding to this I think the daisy rabbit thing could all be a redbeard equivalent of shrelock (you know what i mean) Also funnily enough the protagonist's universe is 7 just like dragonball super and urdak had a similar soundtrack to the anime as well

My proposal: The Eαrth is the sαme Eαrth. When Doomguy found the Sentinels, αnd vowed to protect them, the Mαykrs αsked if there wαs αnything he wished for. He wished for Eαrth to go bαck to normαl. The Mαykrs froze the plαnet in time, αnd began turning back the clock, with greαt difficulty, to the time before the UAC even cαme to Mαrs. The slαyer knew the plαnet would be sαfe. But when he woke up in 2016 αnd discovered thαt earth wαs unfrozen by the Maykrs, he knew thαt they did it becαuse they were planning on culling the planet. He wαs pissed becαuse they broke their promise αnd pissed becαuse the UAC cαme back, demons cαme to attack once more, they’re using Argent energy (from tortured souls).

Great vid before I start man - I wanted to add that in. Personally I hope it's the same Earth as in the old Doom games. The 7th dimension could be tied to 'the promise of a new start', and this Earth could be the original one, that way the Slayer just dimension-hopped (changed locations) instead of bringing in the issue of duplicate universes/multi-verses. Stops the story from become far more convoluted than it needs to be for the sake of scale. The fact that there were stakes, and no way out - just one chance to save yourself and survive, was what made the original so damn good from a story perspective.

I love these games but love the lore even more, I am a subscriber and highly recommend this channel to anyone who is a fan of Doom. Trying to solve and figure out all the unanswered questions that the developers love to hide is what makes me keep replaying the game.

This does confirm that the dlc would be waging war with the sentinels and icon is a higher priority for now as it is consuming earth. TBH i found Khan Makyr a better villain to fight against the icon because of the voice acting and wanted her to be the final boss. I hope the slayer starts talking again as he mysteriously stopped doing so after taras nabad incident. I really find this a good potential way of him meeting B J Blazkowics in the dlc like doom 2 having that wolfenstein secret. Maybe make them fight side by side but only the slayer knows who he is and Blazkowics does not

I just realised a parallel that the Seraphim left Sentinal Prime and ended up on Earth with Dr Samuel Hayden's robotic body. While the Doom Slayer got to Sentinel Prime after his fight on the Mars bases from the original Doom games. Essentially swapped places with what they would consider aliens from another planet.

I think the slayers lines were just cut cos they realized he's better off as a silent protagonist (or at least like a man of few words), and mostly just kept his line in that flash back as a reference for the fans.
