That was after they were compromised, so it might have saved them in this particular case, but if the bomber just exited the room, they'd get hit anyway. Considering his buddy just yelled "They're here" right outside the door, pretty good chance he comes out.

I remember when I first played this level when there weren’t any silenced weapons. I knew there was no way to do it as quiet as possible so of course I took the logical route and did it as loud as possible 😂 all of them had wall breaches and flash bangs. Surprisingly it all went well.

This was a super difficult map! When I did it the suicide bomber was in the bottom bathroom, and I used a spy camera on it, so saw him before I breached. I had cleared everything but that bathroom, so I moved all my assaulters to cover that door, put a breaching charge on, blew it and killed him before he could do anything.

Violence of action is the way to do this mission just blew through all the rooms one guy to the left room one guy clears the room on the right and two clear the back room the suicide bomber seems to be in either of the three bathrooms randomly. completed it with a single plan in 14 seconds and got 3 stars only challenge i couldn't get was for not being injured at all but all 4 of my guys did survive.

If you watch closely, Fili survived because he was still behind the wall. Also, a little hint on the game mechanics: the guy opening the door can't shoot for a couple of moments because he lowered his gun to kick the door. So what I usually do is position one dude so he has a clear shot into the room while another dude opens it from behind the cover of the wall. You can position him quite a bit away from the threshold and he'll still be able to open the door. That way you have a chance to take out a suicide bomber even if he's close to the door. No Idea how realistic that is though.

This mission was really hard for me, I tried a silent run as well. I'm not really that into the game mechanics themselves but I've understood that if enemy combatants start to take fire and manage to get into cover, they will try to execute the hostages -- which would fit into the mindset of someone IRL. Thinking about this, the upper left room is really really dangerous and could easily make this into a shitshow because if that door ever opens because someone was loud somewhere, the guy securing the door is going to fire into that room and could spook the enemies. What I ended up doing was just forcing everyone to the lower left room and taking it from there, and that plan worked.

I just played this mission for the first time the other day. I used M4s instead of MP5s but I got lucky. When i cleared the balcony i went to open up that window and clear the blinds. The suicide bomber was standing right there. Luckily they waxed him before he could clack off his vest.

I’m going to be honest I wasn’t real paying attention so I didn’t know this was a hostage rescue. Everyone brought a shotgun, 4 frags and a wall banger. I just threw volley after volley of frag and put wall shots everywhere, by some miracle the hostage survived. Had a real shocker when I found out it was a rescue mission. Didn’t even realise there was a s-vest because I turned him into a puddle.
