Oh also. Putting a dab of panel bonding adhesive between the sheet metal and reinforcing plates could help dampen the different panels resonance. It can get expensive tho. Drilling holes throughout the middle of doubling plates and plug welding those as well as gapped beads around the perimeter would work as well.

Cut the inner door frame out and put in a solid sheet of thick metal. Make it as flat as possible. Build new door panels that don’t involve cutting into that new flat sheet. That’ll give the door strength and not allow any bass in to flex the outer door panel.

Yes I’m planning something similar to that

I believe it's the large movements of the door going back and forth. The farther it moves, the more momentum. Like the difference between a big hammer swing and a short one. If you can just limit the movement to say 1/4" it would do way less damage compared to it moving 1/2" or 3/4". Part of the issue is the door seal allows the door to pull in too far. I'm thinking you need some threaded rubber bumpers in a few key areas like above and below the latch. Threaded would allow you you screw them out to fine tune the distance. This would prevent the door from moving as much so you'd have far less vibration damage. Oh, and you could adjust them tighter for a show and loosen them slightly the rest of the time. Anyway, just a thought.

I've been thinking about that door for a few weeks now. I think all the inside cracks are a combination of a few things. Of course the bass tears stuff apart. But I noticed on an earlier video that some of the cracks started at corners from where they inner door was cut out for clearance. I'm thinking for the new door, cut all the clearance using round corners everywhere possible. Those clearance holes on the red door have drastically reduced the inner panels structural integrity. Causing more flexing and cracking. What if you cut the new holes round as possible. Then using say 1/4" or 3/16" round rod. Bend and weld the rod all the way around all the clearance holes like a perimeter frame. Custom car builders used to do this around the edges of fenders and quarter panels to give them strength. Or maybe even 1" x 1/16"(or 1/8") flat strap around those areas. Or possibly round rod around the holes and flat strap across larger areas to tie things together. Also welding beads like 1 to 2" long then leaving a gap, say 1", and then start another bead works well at stopping cracks. The welds are garden than the sheet metal. Cracks like to appear at the edge of a weld. If it's one continuous bead the crank can continue all the way across. Leaving the gap between the beads can stop that crack in its tracks. Then you'd only have a short area to repair instead of a really long one. This would work well on the added sheet metal bracing as well. I still don't know how to reinforce the thinner area at front of door where the mirror bolts up and the window track is. That is famously a weak area on most doors anyway. Especially long door like 2 Gen Camaros and 80s G bodies. Hope that gives you some ideas. Sorry so long!

Probably more like making a flat metal plate to weld the whole door solid and remaking the door panel.
