I like that Bruce Wayne Batman, Boston Brand Deadman, Wes Dodds Sandman, and Damian Wayne Robin teamed up to search for the Nightmare Stone. Also, Deadman wearing a combination of the Batman suit and his suit, which looks cool and epic. Also, having more backstory for Insomnia, who I still think might be William MacIntyre Truimph. Also, Incredible Hulk 80s cover, which is a nice homage.

Deadman is dumb enough to do this, but Sandman and Damien should be smart enough to realize what a monumentally bad idea this is. You have 3 realities: Reality, where everyone is asleep and Insomnia can move relatively freely; The nightmare realm, where Insomnia is essentially a god; And the space between the two, where Insomnia literally cannot enter or influence. Why would anyone think it was a good idea to bring the Nightmare Stone out of the one place Insomnia cannot touch it?

Kind of a disappointing death to go and kill yourself no matter what the reason... but then again to be able to control nightmares with the nightmare stone when you are going sleep forever make you a god in your own dreams...

This is a classic example of why comic book movies are failing now. This series has a horror element to it, that is what it is emmulating and is great. I don't even like horror movies. Instead, they turn every genre into s superhero movie. Its the true secret ti phase 1's success no one talks about. You could do this story with no capes and it would still be interesting.
