These Alien/Predator/marvel comic are Mad crazy good. But they kinda unfold backwards from a normal Alien Predator movie in that instead of the world being set to destroy itself because all these things existed.. They jump from the world they destroyed to invade and destroy the Marvel universe. It really works.. But it's jarring knowing the monsters won in the Aliens/predator universe, and now they are jumping over to the Marvel universe and try and kill it too.

Prior to the retcons in "Prometheus" that had the dead "Space Jockey" in the first Alien movie revealed to be a humanoid being wearing a suit, the species was called "Mala'kak" in the AvP extended universe. They do not, to my recollection, have an official name post-Prometheus.

For those wondering about the engineers they either created the black goo and xenomorphs were found the black goo in the xenomorphs DNA the black goo we see used in the first Prometheus is meant to completely shred someone's DNA and reassemble it into what will eventually become life so one body can see the entire planet The ships the Juggernaut ships the engineers use are grown out of the ground with that black liquid so the engineers are actually more advanced than a lot of things even in Marvel. And I'm sure you can guess where the engineers went Eaten by the wolf.

This is why the DC run of the series didn't hit right, they refused to play by the rules; they gave their heroes too much advantages, their victory too assured without impact or any form of thrill and intrigue. tip the scales to even the field and suddenly the story finally becomes an actual story, and not an ego/power trip.

It's not because they are a cosmic threat but because how wide spread the aliens got. They are like a pandemic, constantly expanding, constantly spreading. The Avengers can deal with one thanos. But the avengers probably couldn't handle all the world's army against them

Typically crossover counterparts are not as strong as the canonical versions, and the weaker of the crossover verse usually gets brought up to be stronger. Such as the time dilated Xenomorphs and the androids having already gathered a universe worth of knowledge, shows the versions are much more of a threat then a normal xenomorph hive.

I.... My suspension of disbelief with how this whole story went down is just kind of not there. Specifically speaking of the story itself and how things went down, I'm not enjoying it. The last issue lost me when they said magic couldn't do anything about the Xenomorphs or when the facehuggers latch onto someone. Um, I know multiple factions of the Marvel Universe have transporter tech. I refuse to believe that Reed Richards, Tony Stark, Bruce Banner, Doctor Strange, etc couldn't collaborate and find some way to isolate the infection in people and just teleport/beam it out/ magic it out harmlessly. That the redundancy of Heroes in the Marvel Universe couldn't take a horde of Xenomorphs. Just talking about these things with several friends and really thinking about it just took me out of it.

They went over this, these Xenomorphs are genetically engineered to beat metahumans, they were using Skrulls as one of the bases for hosts. Like Weyland said, hard to fight against the gun you dont even know exists yet.

@@Amardarialand all the heroes are like super old. Even miles looks to be in his 50s. Their reflexes and power outputs seem to have waned. Captain marvel at her peak should be able to vaporize the xenos even if they’re engineered with skrull DNA. The super skrull is like maybe city level at best. Captain marvel at a high ball is like multi planetary or even solar system level. But she looks soooo old. She probably is much weaker. Even hulk’s form looks kind of old, even though other comics show banner as aged but hulk immortal/young still.
