​@@deimosmars3683 They basically reverse-engineered Machiko Noguchi's type (under a new name), but instead of having her understand about the honour of the hunt, or teachings of the prey, she simply seeks revenge and actually manage to learn all about their technology and starmaps, and culture, along the way. By herself. Without any real help. (Well, there was an AI.) But instead of getting the better for it, instead of learning anything meaningful from it all; when she actually manages to catch the trophy she's been seeking all her life... I guess you could say she turns bad blood herself. Hell-bent on genocide for gratuitous reasons at this point. But in such a way that just seems to make a travesty of the whole franchise theme of communication by violence as universal. It's like the perfect anti-predator masquerading as a new instalment. Whatever respect there was for the tribal world feels judged and condemned. Maybe it'll grow on me, but right now it just reads like lazy writing. Graphics are good though. Maybe it's all so that her death feels more cathartic later. I don't know. I get the distinct impression this was not made for the same audience.
