Man, BAKI is the reason why I go to the gym training my body for the first time 3 years ago. I'm the smallest and most nerd looking guy in the gym back then. Now I'm a bit confident with my body. At least I lost my insecure infront of girls. Thanks to this show.

The cgi in this season was famously terrible but they get rid of it later so its all good 😂

It only happened in a few episodes and I'm pretty sure Doppo vs Dorian was the last fight with CGI. The good thing: everything else was animated well which isn't the case for the latest season.

Neel, you should watch the first 2 seasons of Baki. You dont have to react to it, but it definitely helps flesh out the story. Plus you get to see 2 of Doppo's best fights :D

yeah, most BAKI reactor did it behind the screen due to curiosity. but I'd recommend to watch the recap video instead. there's a ton of recap video on youtube who talk about the previous season. it's quicker to understand what's going on in the previous season. but if they want to see the fight and everything without worrying about the graphic, marathon the previous 2 season is not too bad.

Dunno how many episodes will it take before any of the future episodes divulges further on what happened from the past seasons. At least they can supplement you with enough backstory as you progress through the episodes. Just skip reading through the comments though; it's a landmine of spoilers. Just to give you a heads up though. Baki is a long ongoing manga in Japan since the 1990s.

Kind of "spoiler" if you'll be watching the previous seasons but . . . . . . . . . . . Yujiro wrecked his wife (Baki's mum) in front of Baki for character development

The previous season you were talking about going back to watch doesn’t really have any story details. None of them really do. The whole story is his journey to fight his dad. The season does introduce you to a doctor who apparently is just basically god at this point from the wounds he has repaired (and a tip of the hat to the fighters they all deserve credit from just being built different enough to heal) so it’s basically just feats and challenges like every episode pretty much is. A lot of origin tales and flashbacks too just kinda shows what the characters have really overcame.
