She was stunning and she knew she had quite the set and felt it was worth showing/flaunting them in this national TV appearance. It said a lot about who she really was as a private person rather than her stage persona which was a girl-next-door type. Lore has it that she loved her trysts and between the sheets play, and obviously she had a bountiful bosom to charm a man off his feet. I wonder what size she was back then, and I bet my last Andrew Jackson that her pair were natural, not enhanced.

Johnny's suit is pure seventies, bold and out there, wide collared shirt and huge wide tie. What great times those days were. I was twenty years old when this was aired and I still miss those wonderful years. I always loved Johnny's shows he was the best.

Its just a personal opinion but Ol' Doris sure seems like shez got a chip on her shoulder. She was incredibly vain -- infamously Vain...to the point she insisted on having " soft focus " used in her movies beginning around the sixties ( check out some of her 1960s flicks). But I've GOT to say she handled the air - head Carol Wayne with the utmost class.....!

The other guest on the couch was Carol Wayne who regularly appeared on the Teatime with Bert Fern segments. Wayne tragically died in Mexico 11 years after this appearance. In January 1985, Wayne vacationed at the Las Hadas Resort in Manzanillo, Colima, Mexico with companion Edward Durston, a car salesman. After an argument, Wayne reportedly took a walk on the beach. Three days later, a local fisherman found Wayne's body in the shallow bay. An autopsy performed in Mexico revealed no signs of alcohol or other drugs in her body. Her death was ruled "accidental."

Her modesty RE her singing is touching and almost unbelievable . Doris Day was important musically. Her voice, tone, and style was a bridge between the ‘old-fashioned’ singing styles of the 30’s 40’s, and the ‘pop’ sound that grew more popular in the 50’s. ‘Sentimental Journey’ was during WW2 and her style was so ahead of its time.

At 9.20 Doris stumbles when asked about her husband. They were fun times? I adore Doris.

Confident. Augmented. Great points. I'm not talking about the host. Doris never looked better.

I watched Doris Day for the first time and she appears Madonna-like with class. A beautiful woman, attire and conversation with Johnny. Confidence, who needs a bra?
