Back before 2012ish Dorman used to be a half decent product. Now I refuse to use them in our shop. Too many comebacks.

I always just use a piece of pushlock for the hose and no gasket on v-band is best gasket for v-band

I've had dorman reps at my shop and they always encourage me to call the technical services line and complain directly to them. They are interested. I have called and they do make changes. If no one calls and lets them know that there's a problem, The problem can't be fixed.
