I think Illidan is the child of light and shadow because when the universe started, it started with a clash between light and void, and I think the product of that is Chaos, aka Fel. Something Illidan is quite fond of

Illidan was constantly calling out Velen for trusting the Light, so that's why he decided to kill Xe'ra seeing as he would become 'a pawn'. Maybe he saw through fel what Anduin saw through the Light, so he knew not to trust them so easily unlike Velen.

I think he kinda hated everything about the vision and it lowkey played a part into blasting Xe'ra into dust immediatly when she tried to force it upon him. 😂

I've never trusted Turalyon, not from that time with Illidan. There's just something so...off... about him. I've said since Shadowlands that putting him on the Stormwind throne was going to be trouble, even after being so well thought of in his own time. I don't think he will willingly give up the Stormwind throne to Anduin, especially since the "light has left me". He is a fanatic where the light is concerned and Anduin either being left by the light or given it up, won't be a good thing to him. I'm interested in where this is going. I will love Illidan becoming the hero of the story in many ways. :)

Backstory on Illidan you need to know: He was always considered a "child of prophecy" because, unlike most night evles who are born with silver eyes, Illidan was born with Golden eyes, which was a sign among his people of having a great destiny. The only other Night Elf with golden eyes I know of was Queen Azshara herself. So Blizz trying to retcon illidan's great destiny into the modern story, making it about "fighting the void" instead of "fighting the legion" is just a clever re-branding of his Golden-eyed great destiny. This video was fun but it's all head canon and speculation.

One thing worth noting about velen and his visions is many of what he saw did not actually end up happening. Velen himself stated that he was neither prophet nor pawn during the finale of Bringer of the Light, he is still seen with the title on Argus, although at the end of the Burning Crusade, he declares that their salvation was never in fate's hands too....then shortly afterwards at the Stormwind Embassy, he vows that each must forge their own fate, instead of relying on visions to guide them too. I mean 🤔

She is the Prime Naruu (One of the first things of lights creations to manifest in the the universe material realm). The reason she is lame is forcing the light upon illadin regardless of what his say.....or how she peers into peoples souls and thoughts, thats how she also lowkey tortured alleria in the 10k year war too. Edit: She is probably in the Light realm now as killing primal cosmic entities outside their domain only sends them back to where they came from.
