I’ve got a great story for you related to this movie… years ago on an orchestra tour that I couldn’t go on. I had a bunch of friends that were still on the contract tho. Shirley Jones (silver fox) was the vocalist for this orchestra tour. One night some of the people in the orchestra asked her if she wanted to go to the bar with them and she said “yes”. When they got to the bar, the movie, grandma’s boy was playing on TV in a couple of spots at the bar that were tuned to comedy Central, etc. So they proceeded to ask the bartender to turn up the volume so they could watch the movie grandma’s boy with Shirley Jones there and just have a killer time . 😂 They also said she could drink nearly anyone under the table . 😂😂

Allen Covert (Grandma's Boy) was actually my neighbor's brother. I was still just in 14-15 years old when it came out, but remember them having a big party in my neighborhood and even meeting him before the night was over. I've watched it over the years because of my personal connection to it but also because it was probably 1 of 10 movies back then that had a Marijuana plot so it was always playing at someone's place in college. Patrick Cc: just made a video called "Friends of Adam Sandler" and it goes more into how he met each friend, who later became costars and writers of future movies, thought you two might be interested in checking it out as well, some craziness went on with the Weed Dealer from this movie 🤯
