Sometimes, I wonder if they should have added a separate upgrade for Rubick with Aghanim's Scepter. Its balanced as it is now, possibly underpowered in many situations, yet I wonder what it would be like if the scepter allowed him to hold two spells at a time, at the cost of both spells lasting half as long.

Great job as always! This one's a lot better too. The added story didn't interfere with the existing one and only added more depth. Probably the seven assassination attempts on Rubick. which he casually brushed off, would be worth mentioning, but not too crucial. Keep it up!

Yes is does, if you buy an aghanims on rubick it counts for the ultimates you steal as if they bought it themselves. (therefore the part where he said his father granted him the power to steal spells and augment them to become more powerful.)

I think Rubick is a bit younger than Invoker, but over the course of a few hundred years, that stops mattering. The main difference is that Invoker used an immortality spell, which helped him maintain his mind and body, while Rubick probably didn't use anything like that and is likely an extremely old man by now. It would explain his twitchy behavior and his general uh... Craziness.

Rubick is smarter than Invoker even though Invoker has an arsenal of spells Rubick could potentially defeat Invoker. Rubick is also more patient so he will draw out the battle and try to outsmart Invoker. It's a close match up.

With the addition of Aganims for Rubrick, he can actually throw spells back faster then Involker can Mix them and throw them at him.... Involker is more flexable but if it was just a duel of spell power, Rubrick would beat him due to the simple reason of magic resistance

Sure it would. Each Exort gives Invoker 21 damage for a total of 63 damage added on to his base damage. Fade bolt would reduce Invoker's attack damage by a maximum of 32 which still would give him a 31+ to his base damage. Besides, even if Invoker got low on HP, he could just switch to 3 quas and get 21 HP regen and 42 strength. Rubick's weakness is he can only cast other spells if someone casts them first so as long as Invoker just utilizes his orbs that Rubick can't copy, he should win

It says in his lore that its a duelist's mask. So i guess he just like wearing it when he goes into combat. Other guesses are that he is part of this order i forget the name (shapeless ones or soemthing) where he used to be human but is now partialyl made of that same green goo that you see flowing in his armor and on his staff. but he does have human feet if you look.

I guess that depends if you count quas, wex, and exort as spells. I always considered them the representation of the incantations Invoker needed to preform to cast his spells and that was the reason Rubick couldn't copy them in-game.

i would like to see an actual use for aghanim's scepter for rubick... i mean its cool you can boost other peoples ults with it even if they dont have the scepter themselves but i think it should be even more benefitial than that for rubick to buy it. there are way too few occasions where it actually is a good idea to buy it.

It's a combat mask. As stated in the official lore: "Therefore, donning his combat mask, he did what any wizard seeking to ascend the ranks would do: he announced his intention to kill a Magus." The Radiant vs Dire battle is combat. Makes sense that he's wearing it.
