+Kevin Dragneel Great! the funnest/best ways is to pick a hero (Sniper, Dragon Knight, Phantom Assassin, ogre magi are great starters, but honestly if u want to learn slow but fun, pick any hero you want or think is the coolest) AND go MID, dont worry about support/carry crap. just get used to how the game works, then slowly find your role and experiment in different heroes and games. hope this helps!!!

Im transitioning from csgo to dota and holy shit, dota is so complex for beginners. I’ve had thousands of hours on csgo but i got the hang of it for the first 20hrs but dota is just on another level. I’ve played 52hrs so far and still dont know what im doing. Im glad there are videos like these on YT

dont think too much about item. just use the ingame suggested item guide. once u have understand the heroes, whats left is to find the correct item that either amplify the hero damage/save or help the team.

Dota isnt so complicated as league. They both have a suggested item guide. You just have to memorize or be familiar with all the items and you are good to go, anything is hard in the beggining. Dota is much more punishing in terms of laning and dying since you can deny creeps and lose gold on death (micro) but same can be said with league because of jungle monster, dragon and baron buffs and also rift heralds (macro).

Cause it lists earlygame invis heros you should buy detection from the start? Most of the players gets Meld on lvl8 or something so there is no need to buy detection in the beginning of game for that.

Oversight mostly. TA's in high mmr will very rarely skill it before about level 8, but its probably much more common in games for completely new players, so should for sure have included her.
