Something hilarious: I got refresher orb on him. Not because of the ultimate, but his tombstone. Let's just say that having the zombies spawn at a 2x interval can be quite...devastating in teamfights.

Changes to Undying have been made since this video was released. This list will contain those changes (not including number changes, since they are very frequent) Tombstone: The zombies now require two hits to kill from creeps. They are still killed instantly by hero attacks. Flesh Golem: The slow is now also based on proximity. The minimum is 1%, while the maximum is 20%. Aghanim's Scepter: No longer improves Flesh Golem. Thanks alot,this cleared up any confusion i had about him but i have one question.After maxing tombstone,should decay be maxed or soul rip (i personally find it that decay should have a higher priority as soul rip seems somewhat weaker).

Brandon Nicoli You can argue for both depending on the game, but most people max out Decay first, since it doesn't rely on units to be around him. And no, the damage Soul Rip deals to enemies that are not the main target is not lethal.

Aghanim's is really not a good enough pickup on undying.. needs updated, the extra 5% is hardly worth it.

My thoughts exactly. If you want increased damage for your team a Vladimirs Offering gives you 15% increased damage for just 2050 gold. One interesting idea I've heard way to heal Undying by the amount of amplified damage he deals. (so that 30% extra damage done to enemies also heals Undying) Another would be to summon more zombies while in Flesh Golem shape. Either one of these would make the item a more viable pick.

Spartiatai300 How abou this; while in flesh golem mode, enemies will be slowed by 15%, increase movement speed by 15% and when u turn into flesh golem you stop any hp regen in 900 range for 10 sec. Also your ult lasts for 45 sec instead 30.

In DOTA1 the later tombstone would spawn the zombies for every zombie right afterwards the first spanned and kill them with 1 kill, so it disables the other tombstone and gives you massive gold.

Dirge the Undying I was thinking the same thing! Would allow you to have more slow by having double amount of zombies, making easier chasing and also allows your Soul Rip to stack. But how do we get this implemented?

In DotA lore yes. They are brothers indeed and Nature's Prophet is their father. In WC3 lore, Furion Stormrage (Prophet) is Illidan's (Anti-Mage) brother. The Terrorblade model for Illidan is the form he achieved after gaining the power of a certain artifact, turning him into a demon.

golem is a thing made up of a ton of a material. The Flesh golem is a giant mass of rotting flesh that gets bigger as he steal strength from people so i would say its an appropriate name. Although it did make a bit more sense in dota 1 where the model for the ult was an iron golem.

Well, yes. One of the great benefits of dota 2 is that you have all the heroes available. You don't really need all the characters to have fun with the game though, sticking with one or five characters can be just as fun, getting to know them well, those times when things get really close and you outplay someone, in truth the games have everything that make dotas fun. I just have a preference. Though that could change now that I have actually played a game of dota. Really enjoyed venomancer.

Dota 1 was a mod for Warcraft III, Dota 2 on the other hand is a standalone Steam game run on the Source engine. They are not the same game.

You have to admit though that hon came up with some good heroes regardless of whether or not some of the ideas were contributed from the dota heroes. Puppet master, Engineer, Electrician, Nymphora ect. Both great games!

Yeah, you're probably right, he could need a slight buff. If the public players (me included) are just not able to counter him it's not Valves Problem. Balancing was made and will always be made for competitive Gaming. If you don't give Ursa 7 free rosh you'll be most likely okay, probably you'll need a ghost scepter too.

Yes, it is official statement from Valve itself - Dota 2 will be free to play. All the heroes will be available from the very start. The only thing you buy from the Dota 2 Store are cosmetics, which do not affect the gameplay in any way:) This is very smart in my opinion and will attract lots of players from HoN and LoL, in addition to the old hardcore Dota players

its not so much about the balance, its that dota 2 heroes are old, known heroes, which are all people used to play, but they can't yet. if S2 made HoN 2 and started releasing heroes again, people would be happy for 2 heroes a week too.

He's a super fun hero to play due to a variety of different builds, but becomes very weak the longer a game progresses. He could use a buff in that aspect. Tombstone - strong early game, rather useless late game, and his ultimate... it should grant Undying some kind of armor bonus, at least.

There's a reason why LoL trolls are hated so much here. It's not about having no respect for differing games; most players here would probably be okay with a competing game if it weren't for some trolls who could never get their facts straight. Over time people got fed up and felt annoyed whenever someone touches the subject. Think of it this way: no one makes jokes about the Holocaust. relax, fellas. Dota 2 will be available somewhere before the end of the year, will be 100% F2P, meaning you will have access to ALL heroes from the very begining. Only cosmetics will cost money, but you can get them by playing the game - and that is official statemnet from Valve, not speculations. Since Valve is selling beta keys in the Dota 2 store, I don`t really think they will be sending that much beta keys till release though.

Undying, if it goes into Left 4 Dead... The survivors are so dead. A seemingly innocent looking infected that can sap HP at range, and summon / resurrect the horde infected, and finally transform into a tank.
