Double Bevel Marquetry with Jesse Born

just for interest if you want to know the exact angle then it is the angle for the SIN of (the blade thickness/the thickness of both veneers) so example if the blade was .36 mm and the veneers .6 each the sine would be (.36/1.2) = 0.3, look the angle up for this and its approx 17 degrees

Would shifting your 1/16" drill point from the straight edge to the recess where the stem/stalk joins the base of the spade make it less pronounced in the wenge? ♤

Yeah, that's a good idea. It's pretty hard to see the hole anyway because we fill it in and dye it to match. I will give it a try when we need more spade inlays. :)
