Same. It's an odd mix of a control deck to protect Minsc, aggro with Boo, and a bunch of layered combos. My one pet card is Blades of Velis Vel, which allows me to get the card draw benefit from a non-Hamster.

Tiny nitpick that doesn't affect this game - Godo untaps itself and each other samurai, Godo is not a samurai so each copy only gets to attack twice.

Came here to say that and also not sure if there are any other equipment in the deck but each godo does get the ETB fetch if there are (at minimum it is a "fail to find" free shuffle). In particular hammer of nazahn auto equips and makes each other equipment auto equip and sting glinting dagger untaps equipped creature EACH combat

And especially for navigating through exiling Protean Hulk with Jeska's Will- that's a difficult recovery, but you did it beautifully! Also, Dylan I loved your solo hosting! Great job man! :D

I enjoyed both games. Get well soon, cam. My only nit pick was that I felt like there should have been a pod discussion about the lightning bot. The lightning bolt could have completely changed the outcome of the match if other people had more interaction.

Side Note: It didn’t matter for the game but Godo will only untap itself with the trigger as the other copies of Godo are not Samurai. It’s weird, but is what it is.

Yep, 1 blocker that doesn't take damage (indestructible or first/double strike) is enough to survive the Godo combo turn. The next turn might be a different story.

3:57 Yes, absolutely correct. Deflecting swat (and i'm no judge but) redirects the target of target spell, so it's redirecting Pact of Negation to target Deflecting Swat. Then Pact of Negation Resolves targeting nothing because Deflecting Swat had resolved and is no longer on the stack. But would still have to pay the Pact upkeep cost? Again i'm not a judge and i'm not too familiar with the interaction that's just what i see of it. Would love clarification.

Pact of Negation doesn't resolve; it 'fizzles', ie. is removed from the stack because it has no legal targets. So it doesn't create a trigger on upkeep, either.
