Double Flip Envelope Revisit & Revamp

Just came over from watching today's (1/5/2023) Envelope Revisit and Revamp. Really like that you're doing that. What a beautiful "doodle" painting. That is so very pretty - such beautiful colors. Enjoy seeing your art work in your journals. Was cringing when hearing the story of your granddaughters. Thank God they made it safely to your home.

Great re-vamp of this classic...I still have some I made three years ago! Love them! Our one grandson walked home from school, he was nine they had just moved to the town, and he had to cross a four lane highway to boot! He's thirteen now and still headstrong....so he gets ideas in his head, but checks first now! He was proud for being able to make it home from the town to their farm on his own but it was scarey!!! Not to him of course, but to mom and dad!!! 😊

Wendy, lovely reuse of your idea. When I was five I took my brother in his push chair to see where our dad played cricket. It was two miles away, over a main road and under a bridge locally known as ‘the death trap.’ Needless to say my mother was beside herself with worry and had all & sundry looking out for us. Children just don’t see the danger which freak us adults. X Jill

Wendy your little grands are very brave to walk to your house alone but yes so scary!! My 2 yr old grand knows his way around the town, not sure why he takes it all in but hopefully he won't try to go anywhere alone ❣

Love both version, I think I met you through this tutorials🤪🤪🤪because I remember making a lot of this. I would say you are more classic than fancy. Your styles alway pretty and useful/usable. I remember when I was young in the 60's when I and my friends would go all over town by ourselves but a firm and fast rule was had to let mom know where we were going and had to make sure whoever we were going to visit was home I continued this practice with my kids. Yes, I shuddered to hear of these liittle darlings walking by themselves, but perhaps the parents can compliment them on their accomplishments (ability to follow directions, doing something nice for their grandparents) and help them think of other ways they could surprise their grandparents in a way that keeps everyone safe.

Wendy I hope I’m not causing hurt feelings but where is your sweet cat? I’ve been working and not on you tube lately but I’ve noticed that the last few videos I’ve been arched he hasn’t been on.

Hi Faye, Leo died suddenly in November. I did post a message but I don’t expect that everyone watches all my videos ❤️He became very I’ll and was diagnosed with pancreatitis and stomach cancer. I miss him every day. Thanks for thinking about him. 😆😆

@@WendysJournalAdventure I’m so sorry to hear that. A similar situation happened with my Smokey Jo. One day my Mom noticed her tummy was swollen. I took her to the vet the next day and he told me there wasn’t anything he could do. Two days later I had her put down. She wouldn’t eat or drink.
